In Greece there was an old sitcom about an antisocial professor that did not care about women, worked on a great project that never seamed to end, and feared germs to the point of antibacterial bathing, but he was quite sarcastic. He had to share a house with an uneducated waitress who had a sexy waitress friend that wanted to be an actress. When I first saw the american show I thought the two shows were quite similar in design, but the two waitresses were combined to one. Sitcoms based on culturally biased polar opposites easily meet one another.

True. But, the same could be argued for a lot of the jokes in this series. And, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Most, if not all, of what people find to be humorous is bound to be offensive one way or the other. The best material from the most successful comedians typically comes at someone or something else’s expense.

I would love to see Alicia continue on the show. In that last scene where she is asking Penny how much psychists make, she is obviously considering giving one of the guys a shot if she is asking that question. Of course, then Penny and Alicia fought and that kinda ruin things for the guys (Because, the guys are going to pick side, either team Alicia or team Penny. And considering they know Penny longer, of course they side with Penny.) Even so, I wonder which guy Alicia would date. (To be honest, I prefer if she pick Howard. Having to ask how much a guy make before deciding whether to date him, isn't a strong foundation for the start of a serious relationship and Howard is mostly just looking for something casual. So, this is exactly something that suit Howard, something casual and a bit of fun. If it lead to more it lead to more, otherwise, it will end in a few months and part as friends.)
