I was looking for ways to flee the country during the crisis, but now that I'm here, I realize how insanely beautiful a small village in Sri Lanka is on any given day over Burj Khalifa; you always miss things when you don't have them, and you always underappreciate them when you do. Man, oh man, watching these videos during my lunch break here in Dubai makes me miss Sri Lanka a lot more. Soon I shall return to where I belong, Insha'Allah ❤❤

I was in Sri Lanka for about a month , and travelled to south coast and Ella , it was breathtaking, my favourite place from whole journey is unawatuna in Galle ,what a spectacular place , along the beach , I guess upto hambsntota is spectacular beaches and so much fun , particularly Galle rob my heard ,fresh fish and fruits are amazing , if anyone starving in that country who should be an idiot , so much to eat and enjoy . I never had such lovely time living decades in London . I noticed Sri Lankan do not eat readily available good fruits and vegetables which is sad

I do agree but United Arab Emirates and Sri Lanka are beautiful and their own and you are welcomed to return to Sri Lanka to fully settle down if you wish to even though,I am living in Malaysia despite being a Sri Lankan through my mother's late father and grandfather,good friend Maazin Ahamed!!!🏋‍♂️

This is a very beautiful and informative video. I love how nature is incorporated with hospitality, and I will visit there. I hope that as Sri Lanka progresses, it retains this instead of becoming a copy and paste of the economically developed countries as Ulpotha is an example on how Sri Lanka can have its own unique way whilst working to progress. We need every stakeholder to stop blaming each other (including the public blaming the government and holding them accountable, like as if the public is perfect) and start working in preserving this❤

Good friend Milind,as an Interracial person who has Sri Lankan heritage through my late grandfather and late great grandfather from my mother's side,of course,I would build my country but did one of my other official nations India through my ancestries always help the nation!!!Sri Lankan and Indian have a different culture though despite majority of the people are Hindus religion wise and there is nothing wrong at all that a foreigner who teaches yoga on the whole instead of a Sri Lankan,good friend!!!🏋‍♂️

I agree. It is more authentic for a Srilankan to teach it. However I do not know why the foriegner is employed. This could be due to owners decisions and though the place is SriLankan, ownership may not be.

In 2018 I stayed at Diya Ulpatha Teagarden resort in Horawala...very peaceful beautiful good food excellent room one wall was a natural big side of a rock... friendly kind Staff at the reception... From there I walked through the villages saw a Budha temple and the monks there gave me food.. Chicken curry rice vegetables.
