@@MEM-brain it's neither a bug nor a glitch--in Japan, the names are different: Boxer is named M.Bison, Claw guy is named Balrog, Final boss is named Vega. They switched the names when they brought the game to North America, because they were afraid Mike Tyson would sue them for having a boxer that looked like him named M.Bison, really similar to his real life name.

As far as I remember this was just a translation issue. Sheng Long actually meant Dragon Punch

It would be good to make more advance titles like this to compete with the AAA companies out there and blend it into launch box or hyperspin...so eventually it is hard to tell what is official and more about what is fun to play again.

The character was rehashed as gen,that's and they shifted his style.that he knew the hado but prefers not to use it.Its also shown that he trained chunli to use energy as well.similar to how the live action shows it.

Wow! You know what? I've seen sheng long so many years ago in an old EGM magazine and I got so amped just to find out later that it was only an April's fool's joke. Sigh lol. Its awesome to see this hack in action! Great video!

this is the PERFECT REPLICATION of the Sheng Long that Electric Gaming Monthly described him to be this powerful, supposed to have been released in the up coming Street Fighter 3, but was later revealed to be an April Fool joke. Sheng's 16 hit raging demon is ridiculous. If you look at the energy bar, that does twice as more damage as the SFV Akuma's 30 hit raging demon. Capcom should address this issue in SFV to ensure 30 hits wipe out the entire energy bar.

Sheng Long isn't even a character. It's a translation error that is referring to the Dragon Punch. People mistook it for a character because of the way it was translated.

Sheng Long is the legendary instructor who taught both Ryu and Ken. Dan is said to have been the one who was paid to be beat up on by Ken and Ryu.
