After you complete the domain quest, you can see Xiao on a hill protecting the nearby mountains and preparing for an attack from the sea.

Funny how he missed QiQi who’s right next to the smith, but managed to find Keqing who was waaaaay out of the way.

She was in 1.2 then changed her character. She's supposed to be cryo claymore and was scrapped and made her a good back story. It's not that weird. Yunjin was supposed to be a teahouse owner back then but they changed it. Kokomi looks different as Mimi so, your point?

Ei was well written. People just think Walking around amicably with woman=date. Plus she had the misfortune of having her story quest be right after the 2.1 archon quest which disappointed many so most just didn't pay attention to her quest and only saw waifu bait.

Same for me with Eula. I thought she was a random character that only existed to appeal to waifu collectors, but I genuinely look forward to seeing her in events and story content because she was so likeable.

@@rakhaanantabaskoro4461 Sadge indeed. Venti and Zhongli really spoiled us on account of them being open to us from the start which allowed their character introductions to be done in the Archon quest while their lore could be immediately accessed in their story quests. Ei couldn't do that.

@@InanisNihil sure, she's half human, but she *is* an adeptus. she checks out every box needed to be one. inhuman? check. immortal? check. contract with rex lapis? check. protects liyue from evil? check. serving rex lapis in the archon war? you guessed it, check. she has a human side, but it's common knowledge that she isn't a human and is thousands of years old.

@@InanisNihil To add to this, it gets confusing because they use "adeptus" like a species name in the dub, but it's more a title. Ganyu has power from Rex Lapis due to the contract she signed and is half qilin, which is a magical, godly powered spirit. So while she is half-human/half-qilin, her solving the problem with her adeptus tier powers would have basically taken away from everyone else's efforts

@@InanisNihil they literally said that Beisht was seeking refuge in Guyun Stone Forest and had recently just escaped after the battle. She also said, "Beidou sensed something was stirring in the deep." She knew because Beidou sensed it. Also, Ningguang knew most likely because of her own private network and ancient texts that she must've read, it was already stated that she has a vast range of knowledge.

@@InanisNihil I'm mainly in the game for the lore as well, reading the artifacts, theories and the like. I'm quite sure Guyun Stone Forest is filled with power with Morax's spears, so that means any enhanced or godly elemental beings staying there have been sealed beneath the Ocean. As to how Beisht knew, I cannot guarantee this but it might've been because of those mass-produced Adepti Sigils of Permission that could have unsealed her. You can't guarantee that everything can go smoothly or as quick as the one with Osial. Perhaps because of those Sigils, Beisht was too weak unlike Osial, who was the Overlord of the Vortex himself. EDIT: My bad, I didn't remember that you said that it was unconfirmed that Beisht was sealed. To that question, this happened during the Archon War, Morax would've easily sealed Beisht away. After all, she is a threat to Liyue. And since the Archon War is still covered in mystery, and because how minimal of importance Beisht is in the story, I'm quite sure they wouldn't even want to try writing more lore to a small character like her. Beisht also probably knew because she must've seen that event, but she was still too weak, hence why she was taking refuge and was waiting for the Jade Chamber to strike again.

Why would you think that? You have to Finish “We Will Be Reunited” before going to Inazuma, and this quest requires completing the entire Inazuma arc before you can start it. It would make no sense to set a quest later in the same chain at an earlier point, chronologically.
