I think Tom got a rule slightly incorrect at 10:45. If you get a Merry Man through you automatically draw two, choose one and place the other one under the deck. You only need to smuggle contraband through to replace them if your previous Merry Man was caught by the sheriff/deputies. This makes sense thematically. What more could you do to prove yourself, beyond successfully smuggling them into the castle?!

Has Tom ever given a reason for why he believes that replenishing should be from the draw pile only? And why the ability to draw from other player discards is in the rules if he feels so strongly?
