A prostitute is brutally murdered by a psychopath, while a group of masked men watch from the shadows. Time is ticking and bodies are piling-up as the great Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, go deep into London's underbelly in search of the Shadow Watchers.

Good one. I started the movie and immediately was having a bad feeling. The sound, camera work, bad accents, bad script, bad acting, etc., were noticeable right away. But why they chose that chubby, round-faced guy for Holmes is beyond me.

I enjoyed the plot with its interesting religious characters. However, Lastrade’s voice and the constant playing of music were each quite annoying. Altogether I admit I enjoyed this mystery. Thank you for presenting it.

If this is some sort of amatuer production then its a fair effort otherwise it's probably the worst S Holmes movie Ive seen, the acting ,lighting and sound as well a the costumes and directing are very low-quality...sorry to those who disagree but as an avid fan of Sherlock for 60years i was disappointed.

I didn’t particularly care for the movie plot. I didn’t really care for the actors either. Homes and Watson characters were passable. They couldn’t have picked anybody worse to play Inspector Lastrade. Not just his physical appearance , but his speech and mannerisms are awful.

This Lestrade may look like a homeless drunkard put in a costume, but he delivers a splendid performance nonetheless. Plus: Rare, a Holmes not arrogant and misanthropist, but focused on more than junkie-pleasing.

FUN FACT: Blood does NOT spatter on a wall during a stabbing when it enters a body. It splatters when the knife is removed from the body and then swing down again.

Clearly low budget. I am assuming the 'actors' paid to be on the set. Clothes bought and a second hand shop. However, that said, for what it is I quite enjoyed it. For what it's worth his very low key Holmes kind of made it a little bit more believable.

All in all it was quite watchable. The acting was poor as was the dialogue and settings. However we all have Basil R in our minds when watching Holmes, so don't with this. Treat it as a theatre performance and just enjoy the film. Wouldn't knock it as poor, just above average.

I couldn't stand the actor who played Lestrad...I can't put my finger on the problem...but his performance seemed really bad to me. Sorry ! Don't quit your day job!
