Sherlock Holmes The Awakened, a Lovecraft-Sherlock crossover is coming to PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5.
A continuation of the young Sherlock’s story, this is the first case Holmes and Watson undertake as a duo. Together they will investigate and try to thwart a nefarious cult that worships the ancient Eldritch God Cthulhu. The horrific events that Holmes and Watson encounter here lay the foundation for the iconic pair's unbreakable bond, but also explain how Sherlock became such a damaged and flawed genius.
The game is a full remake and substantial rewrite of Frogwares’ 2006 release and is now being rebuilt, rewritten, and remade in Unreal Engine 4. New visuals, quests, stories lines and mechanics along with a full overhaul of the entire game.

@@yaro42 its hard to call them professionals when they had legal troubles with TWO publishers in the past... i like their games, and i think they work better as indie devs as of now also, another ukrainian devs GSC not doing any crowdfunding because of a war, actually. so its not the case, really. Frogsware just small indie team, thats why.

I played years ago Sherlock Holmes crimes and punishments and game was awesome actually, got me to think a lot how to solve mysteries and puzzles, tried SH devils daugthers and SH chapter one, but this is something new especially with new mythology creature Cthulus

I had a world record Speedrun from the original. I guess the nightmare scenes are on his own mind, because the end of the original implies the cults activities are all magically ambiguous and maybe it was all in their minds... Except for that giant kraken in the swamp.

As usual so many bots on the "top" coments over here, man im glad they wrote "work in progress" because it doesn´t look awesome at all. Certainly not for ps5. Maybe they improve it over time until launch and i might give it a shot.
