Love seeing him rabble rouse with his mom and grandmother! His chubby little tummy is the cutest. A real handsome little guy. There’s just nothing like a Cavalier puppy to bring joy to each day! Thanks for sharing!

We have a tunnel--for our cats. One of our cats uses it occasionally. Two of our dogs use it all the time. Our little special needs boy gets in it, flops over on his back and rolls around on his back in it, making the tunnel rock back and forth. Sherlock will probably love his tunnel! Sherlock, the agility puppy. Weave poles are next.

Reminds me of my dog. I bought him this cool hide and seek toy and he was more interested in chewing it. Hopefully Sherlock stops chewing the tunnel and has lots of fun with it

Is the tunnel the first step to doing agility? Would you and Sherlock enjoy agiity?
@chaskat3528 күн бұрын
It could be a first step, but I retired from Agility years ago, when I realized that I was getting too old to run the course myself.

Sherlock is so sweet! Apple is too! Any advice for my almost three year old cavalier Luca (born one week after Apple!) who thinks EVERYTHING is edible? Is there a way to stop this bad habit or am I too late?
@chaskat3528 күн бұрын
I generally use substitution - find a chew toy he likes, keep it handy, and as soon as he goes for something he should not be chewing, substitute the chew toy and give him plenty of praise.

I was wondering how many litters Bootsie has had?
@chaskat3528 күн бұрын
Bootsie had just 2 litters. She had a little difficulty with Calcium deficiency last time, so we retired her.
@chrisstepleton476128 күн бұрын
@chaskat35 I love Bootsie and Apple. Bootsie was such a good mother, and I think she passed her skills down to Apple. I love seeing them together. I am very partial to tri colors and had 2 of them. Thank you for responding.

How is a dog meant to warn you from intruders if you keep them in cages? I got saved by my two dogs once, they sleep on my bed. They have there places and blankets. They go on pee pad papers if needed at nights. Dogs are carers for us as they sense more than us of stranger danger. I love your dogs, I’m just different to you, I don’t believe in cages.🥵
@chaskat3525 күн бұрын
That's OK - we all have our individual values. I never use pee pads, because I don't believe it's acceptable for a pet to potty inside the house. I do believe that if a fire or other emergency disturbed us during the night, I would have a hard time finding my dogs to rescue them if they were loose. And they still warn us of intruders, because their senses are so acute they can sense problems from their crates.
