This is such a powerful duet. I love Sting and The Police, and Cheryl Crow. I always get chills when I listen and watch the video. As a grown man, it always makes me cry in a happy way…but that’s a good thing!

If I ever met an Angel, they would look and sound like Sheryl Crow.

I forgot all about this duet of a gem until Bill Maher mentioned it on his podcast.

I have a triathlete brother / Nasa who looks like Sting., plus 3 more brothers. I as their only sister sent this to them. We are all so far apart. Such a beautiful song! I first heard this at a 99 cent store… there for my fur babies stuff. All I heard was “Butterflies are free to fly.., “ and I stopped and listened to the rest of the song! Googled that phrase and FOUND IT!!! Have shared it with so many people, but this song is for my husband… “my Angels and demons reappeared…” I have always been there on his side… just a fantastic song!

Such a beautiful duet. It really showcases the beauty and depth of Sheryl’s voice that you don’t hear on the radio. Sting is timeless...always incredible. And the video really shows the love and respect these two have for each other. Magical.

I think it was 1993 when I met Sheryl Crow for an interview in Cologne, Germany, where she was playing at the Luxor club. I was at journalism school and her first album Tuesday Night Music Club had just been released. There were not many people, mostly record company guys. But her songs were just beautiful. And she had that lovely, kind, free-spirited, warm-hearted, easy going and down to earth personality, while we had a beer together. No arrogance at all. What I love about her? After all her success she still seems to be that good hearted person today. She's so not fucked up, and that's a great thing these days, isn't it? ❤

This song was re-recorded with Sting the same year she was diagnosed with cancer...beautiful collaboration ...

2023. I don't hear this song on the radio anymore. But it was so good to hear this song over 10 years ago!! Grateful to what life has given me.

I never tire of this beautiful song! When I first saw the video I was jealous of Sheryl at the end when they hug. I didn’t know they were friends. I love when Sting harmonizes. And that he plays the old school base. Those kids were so lucky to play with them! Such an honor and they’ll always remember it.
