She made his life much easier by declaring that she would take care of the child. He did not have to explain/convince anything, although judging by his appearance, he was very nervous about this. Now she is actually going against the advice of her brother. Not only does she not object to the fact that the child is accepted into the family and that Lingyi recognizes the child as her own. But she is ready to take the child up, making him her son. Like Lingyi, she puts the interests of the child and family above her own. He is really very impressed, her conclusions and deed. I think he did not expect that she would understand everything herself, and he would so easily, without explanation, receive her understanding and support. It is really important for him that she understands everything correctly, trusts him. It's so hard for him to believe what's going on. Poor thing, he asks her several times about the same thing. You're right, he's lying to himself when he says that it doesn't matter whether she believes him or not. This is vital to him. Shiyi really knew right away that Yuanyang had set him up. She had a different misconception regarding Lianfang, which is why she stood up for her older sister at the docks. But after marrying him and spending several months with the family, she knew for sure that her conclusions about his initial interest in Lianfang were wrong. He does not need to worry about the past, she knows everything and correctly understands his character. She is also ready to help him solve the problem in his relationship with his brother. Only one thing can be said about the GM: "Why enemies, if there is such a matriarch." She has created so many problems with her thoughtless/prejudiced actions that the Ou family really doesn't need to try too hard. GM with enviable constancy provides their son with additional problems. For her, there was another unpleasant wake-up call. Shiyi ALREADY knew all about the baby. Lingyi first of all informed his wife about this, discussed everything with her and agreed on how to proceed. And only now informs her. If Yuanyang were in her place, he would NEVER do this. GM did not allow her youngest son to grow up, Lingyi had no one to rely on in the family, until Shiyi appeared. The value of Lianfang shares catastrophically goes into negative territory. Shiyi is the guardian angel of the Xu family, how can Lingyi not love her. She became his living dream. It remains to make sure that she responds to him in return. For this, he can be patient and wait a bit.

He didn't know what to expect or how she was going to respond to the situation. He was so use to Yuanniang out of control attitude when things didn't go her way or when he didn't do what she wanted him to do. He's seeing firsthand how different these two react to problems in the Xu family. He didn't trust Yuanniang the way he does Shiyi. Whenever he had to deal with a crisis in the family he goes to Shiyi first but in the past he always went to his mother. He puts great importance on Shiyi's opinion. He knows that she can handle things in a calm/decisive manor. What sets her apart is that she cares about Fengqing well fair. It's not about his status or how his appearance will negatively affect her future children. It's all about him/doing what's best for him. She knew what was going on from the beginning without him telling her. Her brother was trying to look out for her interest/the interest of her future child but she focused on Fengqing's future. I love that she went against her brother's advice/she thought about the best interest of the child. The fact that he brought up the past shows how important her opinion is to him. When Shiyi accused him at the pier about Lianfang she was under the misunderstanding that they were having an affair but she came to see the truth after a while. He assumed that Shiyi would be like Yuanniang because she didn't believe that Lingyi would refuse the marriage arrangement is mother was making for him with Lianfang. So he was worried that Shiyi wouldn't believe his explanation. He was pleasantly surprised that she knew he wasn't at fault. When she gave him the explanation as to why she believed him...she was giving him another compliment. She proved that she knew him/that she trust him completely. They finally verbally resolved all the misunderstandings between them. Now they were ready to move forward to help Fengqing find his place in the Xu family. The GM's opinion is irrelevant at this point. She's created more problems for the family that the Ou family could ever do. She really harmed her sons/using the family rules to justify her behavior. Lingkuan wouldn't have grown up if it hadn't been for Shiyi. She saw his potential/she helped Lingyi see what he was capable of...and this gave him an opportunity to move passed his smothering mother's grip. He spent too much time being sheltered by his mother. She never gave him the opportunity to learn from his mistakes. Shiyi was the unofficial lifesaver of the Xu family/exactly what they needed. Her influence changed their lives for the better despite the old lady's interference. Lingyi was really lucky when he married Shiyi.

@@shontelagrone8713 yeah..what both of u r telling r really true..but her brother's advice,his past,her blaming him for Lianfang is not shown in the video...does it cm in the full episode?
