the number of verses being different is because everyone counts differently. take a long verse for example. you can say it's 1 verse with 10 sentences. or you can say it's 10 verses with 1 sentence. the content remains the same.

Many of the penalties and verses of generations before were abrogated. It seems these missing verses were comments or confusing what was said that some other peoples did. The limiting the number of people to have Al Qur'an as it was revealed can mean those who have the spirituality to accept it as it is.

My dear sunni brother, as of my knowledge, a part of being sunni is following the books of bukhari and muslim, and these books clearly contradict the Quran, while simultaneously contradicting each other. Brother it is better than not to be an ignorant person, so except the truth. I ask allah on this holy night, the night of arafah, to guide all muslims to true path of allah. Ameen Ameen Ameen

@@Thaqlain But why would that even be necessary? You know that God is the only Judge and He revealed to us a detailed Book (6:114). We don't need other sources

To take an extreme example, how do you know whether the prophet saw. is dead or still alive or when exactly he lived ??? You rely on other sources. The Qur’an contains no such details. Also the Qur’an does not include many details necessary to fully understand it.

Allah swt assured us that He will protect the Qur’an. Why waste your time referring to hadith to falsely allege missing verses in the Qur’an? Have you then no sense?

He's agreeing with you. Sayyed is not alleging that there are missing verses. He is exposing the Sunni belief in missing verses only. Pay attention.

@@adamibrahim401 They very much do… I’ve had many conversations with Sunnis and heard many podcasts… they even go as far as justifying their hadiths that’s contradict the Quran. I wouldn’t make this statement otherwise. It’s shocking the things I’ve heard!
