I have been following Sheikh Imran since 2008 (starting from the Arrival series) up until now, though nowadays, I listen to Sheikh Imran once in a while. But something that amazed me from this short video is the opinion of Sheikh Imran of how Imam Mahdi will finish off the monarchy thingy. I have no issue with that argument but i have issue in singling out of the Ottoman Empire. Am really sad to hear that and I just really hope that it's not the whole idea from the Sheikh, might just be poor editing. Am of the opinion that those past histories are there to remind us, as proof and as sign of the Prophethood Of Prophet Muhammad SAW as he mentioned a hadith about how the political systems emerge from one another to another so that we know the timeline of the End of Times. And to just singling out a race, a government, an era, an empire is just really sad. I used to have the idea why the sahabah fought each others although they were personally trained by Prophet Muhammad SAW but over times i could see some reasoning behind it. it is a timeline, a sign and learning curve for me to understand better the history of Islam and thus, be prepared for the future. So, it is just frustrating to see these events (Sheikh Imran's opinions on Ottoman Empire) unfolding again just like what i had years ago in understanding events and conflicts surrounding the Sahabah. i really hope that is not the understanding of Sheikh Imran but rather a poor editing part of the video.

This is not correct and this Imam, whom I listen to a lot, knows it. But it's up to the individual to not let his heart or love for the Sahaba blind him. Inshallah, as I was asked to do, I'll ask you likewise. Read the book THEN I WAS GUIDED by Muhammad At-Tijani or you can listen to the audio book on KZfaq. All of this issues are covered in the greatest detail by s man who went himself to debate and question about the two views of Islam. (after watching both part.1 and 2) I'm a very big follower of Sheikh Imran Hosein but this lecture which he gave is more of an OPINION, NOT A FACT... no references... and it really did hurt me when all this has happened in the past, what was the use of this sectarian lecture again in current crucial times?? when Ulma or true muslims happened to be talking about something religious they used to give references and proves not their personal opinions.. we'll not be joining them in their graves or on Judgement Day but will be solely alone in our own.. THAT'S A COMPLETE LIE that muslims were united in appointing caliph, but NOW muslims need to be united anyhow; ONLY IF you stop spreading HATE SPEECH SIR!.. Most of all the people of your generation had done enough damage to islam, if you were so truthful, why did you guys let happen all this FITNA knowing the truth?? if you people were so truthful Allah would have surely helped you.. what did you do for the remedy of the disease?? Don't you know Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.W) said "Fatima is a part of me, whoever will hurt Fatima, will hurt me and whosoever will hurt ME will hurt ALLAH"... (Hassan hadith-sahi bukhari)..Don't you know about Fatmid sahaba which were true companions of Hazrat ALI(A.S)?? THEY WERE NOT AGREED at the time of appointing both three caliphs but Hazrat Ali(A.S) always advising them to remain patient to sustain unity amongst Muslims all over.. Don't you know how Talha and Zubayr fed Hazrat Aisha(R.A) with false statements and made her to fight againts Hazrat Ali(A.S) in Battle of siffin.. and your'e saying ALL UMAH WERE UNITED?? SERIOUSLY?? Don't you know Hazrat Usman appointed Muawiya as the governor because he was the cousin?? During Muawiya's rule cursing was made a part of the Friday sermons and everyone gradually forgot Prophet Muhammad’s Progeny. Within 50 years of the death of Muawiyah, many Muslims forgot His Eminence, Ali (a.s.) and Lady Fatima (s.a.) completely. Hence a man from them asked a friend: “Who is this Ali, whom we all curse in the Friday sermons?” His friend replied: “He was an infidel and deadly enemy of Islam, that is why everyone curses him.”.. Don't you know the peace treaty signed by Imam Hassan (A.S) with Muawiya as a desperate measurement just to sustain unity amongst muslim... ALL ABOVE SAID HAPPENED BEFORE THE INCIDENT OF KARBALA... or i can give you more, I WILL NOT HIDE THE TRUTH, i will be alone in my grave, responsible for my OWN deeds not behind an aalim with HIS opinions... Why was it always Imam Ali or Imam Hassan or Imam Hussain (A.S) making compromises To maintain UNITY amongst till the 11th Imam?? ever gave it a thought?? and waiting for 12th Imam Mehdi (A.S) to reinstate that UNITY again? and fight against the previously said Dajjal? because we people are nothing but like detracked animals without the leadership of Imam (THE LEADER APPOINTED BY ALMIGHTY ALLAH) from the prophet's bloodline... These characteristics are only adopted by a divinely appointed LEADER-AN IMAM (to become selfless) not anyone who's holding the throne.. GOT A LITTLE IDEA?? P.S I'm not a SHIA, i'm not a SUNNI/wahabi only a believer. All the above said events are authenticated and can be EASILY found in Saha's Sitta (authenticated sunni books i_e Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Tirmidhi...) Dear Imran, Fatimah, Salman, Abazar,Talha, Zobeir, Ammar and several others Along with Imam Ali, they didn't accept Abubakr's khelafat, they just kept silence for the sake of unity. Ali had never given Beyeat to Abubakr, and Fatima doughter of prophet too did not recognize Abubakr as his Imam. Disunity started with the election over God's willing. However that does not mean the ummat should be disunited, we shia follow Ali,, as he kept quiet we care for unity as well. Besides There has never been a shia sunni war, The shia term of today refers to Rafiza of those times, in past times, Shia was refering to people who followed all khalifa except othman. and there was a small group of people as I named them before, some sahabi and i.e. Hussain's companion, they were called rafizi, they followed only Ali after Mohammad, this group today is named Shia. if you understand this in your researches it will help you alot. because you are looking for different people under the same term. There has never been a shia sunni war.,... it was rafizi (today's shia) vs othmani (wahabism of today + nasebi and exterimist part of salafism and some others) But for example if by sunni you mean Hanafi or sharei or makeli or many other sects? there has never been a shia sunni war! never... today too, it's shia wahbi war, not shia sunni... we have around 72 sect's in Islam, one is shia and others have other names, there very obviouse thing is that why we call it shia sunni? Shia is one sect of Islam, and Sunni has 71 other sect all have the same level of differences, All muslims but when it comes to shia as today's meaning (Iran Iraq lebenan and etc.) why we put the entire ummat against one? emam Hanafi Shafei and etc they themselves were shia (as today's meaning) they were students of Shia Imams , How can Sunni hanafi and shia 12 Imami have fight? no they cannot, they reach to the same teachings anyway, except few things which well under rulled by banuumayat and abbasi and etc do you thing emam hanafi and shafei would do something different that what Ali did? they would keep umma united too so they wouldnt talk about khalafa, but in their heart they believed... think about this, it will help you enshalla. My Mother (Allah yerhammha) was a x-shia and she said that shia has nothing to do with Islam. She also used to warn about them in the Mosque, she was also the most respected female teacher that ever set foot in Allah's house. Shia is a branch of judaism and not Islam. They emerged from a jewish tribe called al saduqiya/macca bees who claimed that Uzair was the son of Allah.
