One of the most senior scholars in UK, he is also a graduate from Darul Uloom Bury, under the tutorship of Shaykh Hazrat Yusuf Motala.
He has a special attachment to Tafseer and studied the science under Shaykh Yunus of Sahranpur.
Shaykh Abdur Raheem is the teacher of many high profilic scholars in UK including Shaykh Abu Yusuf Riyadhul Haq, Shaykh Abdur Rahman ibn Yusuf, Shaykh Zahir Mahmood including others. Currently the teacher of Hadith at Darul Uloom Bury.

At the time of Hazrat Muhammed (saw) the sahabah practiced this loud zhikr, and it was not wrong, and Hazrat Muhammed (saw) did not stop them from doing this. And also we are encouraged to practice this with attention to our hearts as it gives the heart peace. Stop fighting,

If your understanding of bidah is that something which the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم didn't do. Then you using your mobile/ laptop etc to watch KZfaq is a bidah because the Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم didn't watch KZfaq.

That's incorrect, it is something which has no reference to or history within the shari'a that's is within the subject of deen, innovations in technology ect do not come under the category of bid'ah.

Unkown Guy It is classified as Bid’ah if there is no evidence for it, in this case there is, you are just repeating the kalimah. Also it is Bid’ah if they consider part of the deen for example of it is considered sunnah, or fardh. But we do not it is optional thing. For example people celebrating the prophet’s SAW birthday is Bid’ah because they believe it is a sunnah and there is no evidence for this. I asked mufti hasan from batley.

Unkown Guy one Hadith of the prophet is that he told the Sahaba to increase their Iman, they asked how shall we do that? The prophet replied by saying recite the kalima in abundance, so in actual fact it something the prophet instructed the sahaba to do. So please don’t start saying it’s biddah when it’s not, maybe u should try it yourself and then see how much peace and content your heart gets and how close to allah you will get inshallah, then maybe you will regret saying it’s bidah. We don’t say it fard to do zikr like this so we are not adding anything to the religion

If you’re understanding of Islam is to go back to horses and fire as there was no electricity or running tap water only wells and the prophet pbuh only spoke Arabic why you texting in English . Now you understand why you shouldn’t go into extreme as there prophet pbuh said you should always be as the middle nation . Yes Sunnah fardh etc must be adhered to get rewards sawab and to Allah belongs everything in the. West and east . You can use your common sense on doing good things or bad things in everything and Allah is not unaware of it all .

You being a follower of superman is an even bigger BIDDAH (clown); what the Shaykh is doing is an exercise it's not an 'ibaadah per se'; it's an exercise with prayer to bring the nafs 'ego' under control; this type of Zikr would help to bring the wild nafs under control better than imagining to be superman will; i.e. it's kryptonite for the nafs, ha!
