I always think of that Bugs Bunny episode with the Barber of Seville music. "Lemme cutcha top; Lemme shave your mop; Carefully!" B&M should do a special Loony Tunes label for this particular soap!

Seville is so good! That's on my short list for "if I could only have one." My only complaint is that I have to use so much more soap with the omnibus base. I accidentally bought the EdT, and I like it a lot. I had bought the EdC, but Maggard's sent me the EdT by mistake, and I'm glad they did. It's got a tad less zing, and it's more refined. It's just a really pleasant scent. It's like the dry down of the aftershave. I totally agree with your assessment of that razor. It's got some bite against the grain. I haven't nicked myself with it, but it feels like it's possible.

Huh, I don't have that issue with omnibus. But I have a water softener system, so that might be a factor. As far as the razor, same lol. Haven't cut myself, but i definitely take a little extra care when I use it lol

@@jonathandavis2419 It could be a difference with tub loading vs scooping. I've had more success if I bloom it, and it loads better with boar. I certainly don't mind buying soap, but I've got to load this base for 20-30 seconds for the same amount of soap as a 5-7 second load with PAA/Catie's Bubbles. I'm at least encouraged that Seville is not a seasonal or limited run, and I'll have no problem finding it in the future. It's probably in my top 3. I think it's the rosemary that makes this one stand out. It's almost a savory citrus like a lemon you'd squeeze onto your food instead of a sweet or tart lemon.

Great shave. I always get a great shave from my Blackland Sabre plate 2. I use Personna Ptfe coated blades. Any alternatives you’d recommend for me to try? Take care 🇬🇧
