One more question… how is the bare wire connection made? I’d prefer to not have a connector on the OBD port so on your bare wire option I’m wondering what wires do I need to tap into in the car?

It needs 12v, 0v and connection to pin 9 of the obd port

Currently use an arduino nano but I'm currently designing my own custom board.

Does this work on other makes of car?

Only tested on mini's at the moment. In theory if the car has a specific signal wire providing an RPM related pulse signal it could work.

Will this remember your configuration after you power off the car?

Yes, all settings are saved in memory.

@@qaz1234167 there isn't specifically, but the electronics will work fine, not sure if the shape of the bottom is compatible but it looks like it might fit

Hi, I dont know - this has been developed to use a specific pin on the MINI OBD port.
