Shifting project cars around… Time to start on Old Blue the Barnfind 1957 Chevy Pickup

Well y’all this video is a little while back as you can tell if you’ve been watching the channel, it’s been a busy week and I wasn’t able to get a new video filmed. But I hope you enjoy this and it’ll introduce you to the project that has been going on in the background of the videos. This 1957 Chevy Pickup “Old Blue” is a barnfind we picked up last year. Finally getting a chance to get started on it. The plan is to cut the frame down and do a short bed conversion. I’ve got a 6.2 liter LS3 we are building with ported rec port 823 heads and a 4l60e automatic. Im planning on ordering a huge cam and the supporting parts from ‪@TickPerformance‬ . I picked up a Chevy Colorado 8.5” 10 bolt with a 3.73 gear and a posi. Hoping to running the truck on a ‪@HolleyPerformance‬ Terminator X Max! We will fix the rust and patch the trucks sheet metal. But I plan to keep the patina and seal it with some ‪@poppyspatina‬! I want to get the truck low to the ground with an axle flip in the rear and drop springs up front. Gonna keep the straight axle but do a power steering and power brake conversion. The ultimate street truck daily driver! With enough power for some killer burnouts!
I hope y’all liked getting to see all of our barnfind GTOS! 1966 GTO 389 automatic air conditioning hardtop. High option 1969 barnfind GTO with a Judge wing, and that ratty 1968 4 speed GTO. Plus that cool Pink 1960 Cadillac Series 62 four door hardtop. The 1957 Chevy 150 two door sedan gasser!

Haha it was pretty terrible wasn’t it!? Turned out the tie rod end was rubbing on the wheel. He will be soon, I still have to buy tires for it and we’ve had a lot going on and haven’t had time. But it’s still gonna happen don’t worry. You have a good week as well thank you for watching! 🤙

Cool old 57 Truck, i have a 55 3200, it's going to become a 3100 in two days the box just got shortened and Thursday the frame gets shortened, looking forward to seeing more of your videos on Old Blue

That’s awesome! I’m waiting on parts for it currently. I actually just traded a 68 GTO for a 55 Chevy 3600 cab and a short box sitting on a 86 swb c10 chassis. I love these old trucks

Good afternoon sir! Thank you for watching. We still have the square body, I was daily driving it and have some sort of fuel delivery issue at the moment. But this video was shot before we bought the c10, just been a really busy last couple weeks and I didn’t want y’all to go without a video.

It really does help, normally the tractor is at the house, yesterday we used the fork lift and unless all the drums are locked up on the car it seems to do a decent job
