That little red indicator on the left hand side of the chiller unit - is the 'defrost now' indicator. When frost builds up and you can no longer see the red indicator, time to defrost. A small fan blowing into the inside with the door open helps speed up the defrosting time.

Kinda missed this “episode”(?)… ‘55 Buick Super’s owner here (near identical as Roady’s then). Not sure if you have sold yr ‘55 Roady yet but, if you haven’t, trust me that if you absolutely do NOT have to sell it, don’t! You’ll very much regret that choice on down the road some. And we all know “regrets” ain’t healthy

Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ it's always good to see you working Chris, regardless of what it is. I've been doing maintenance for a friend of mine's past 3 Jeeps. I personally think they're a nightmare 😂 I do it cuz it puts money in my pocket, I also told him don't recommend me for anyone else's 😂 I also maintain a neighbor's Saab, that's even more fun 😂 I wish you and your family a fine Sunday Chris. As you can tell i'm really digg'n the Nova videos, nice job on the Tig welding do you have much time in on the Aluminum, i have spent a lot of time honing in on the Tig welding but mostly thin SS, i have got to get some helmet time on Aluminum, i did weld one part for my golf cart and it turned out ok, they sure are right about having everything clean/ clean, this beast is getting closer to roaring to life, that will be exciting, catch you on the next one😁😁

Excellent video Chris and Dad, learned a few things today, it's the little things that make a good build, i'm trying to visualize a bench seat opposed to buckets, im sure anything you do will turn out great, i just had the bench set in the 55 redone but i have a pair of Procar 90's, kinda the Chevelle look buckets going in, that is a killer looking engine, your right about the intake, looks like a big black worm, but still it's hard to make that bad boy not beautiful, looking forward to the next one, have a great weekend 😁😁

Sorry for your bad breaks! But I just love that old Buick. My parents friends had one very similar. I remember riding in it as a kid, I thought it was great. I hope you can keep it and repair as you an afford to. I truly love cars from the 50,s . My Dad had new cars every year, my mom drove it the next year. Mostly Pontiacs and later Cadillacs, all very sharp cars. Good luck, love your show. And please check your brakes! Mark.

Awesome work Chris, great videos, notching the frame made easy, little update i have the 55 up on jack stands and level, all my lines are laid out and ready to cut, i decided to do the cut like you did, takes up way less room, funny how this works i have been laying awake thinking about cutting the frame for weeks the way i was going to do it with the 18 1/2 , and then bang watched your video two days ago and everything changed, lol, although i am going to add one twist to the cut, you might have to watch the video to see what it is, ha ha, sure have enjoyed your videos, i see Chris from Ironhead Garage comes by, he is a good friend of mine we both live in Eastern Washington, actually i have a second place over here, my main house is in Western Wa., anyway enough rambling on i have a frame to cut, have a great day and catch you later😁😁Mike DRF
