A lot of us who wanted it, did actually buy them. This will not sell in M3 numbers, and that’s part of the appeal. I’ll most likely never see another Blackwing on the road. I’m able to drive something less common in the high performance luxury sport sedan world.

I will throw in my 2 cents worth since I own a C5 Vette with an automatic, and a CT5-V Coupe with a manual. As you already know there is something fun about driving a manual, a connection with the car. I would never have my daily driver as a manual, but I will always have a manual car in my stable. Besides the fun of a manual, there is something even super cool about it being in a Caddy. Also had the 2003 introduction regular CTS ...also with a manual (5-speed) and as reviews back then said, it was just more fun to drive than the import competition because of its razor sharp steering. Then again the C8 is obviously beautiful and ultra sporty inside and out (not a fan of the interior of the CT4 because of its limited colors compared the Vette). Hope these thoughts helped!

The regular seats are actually really comfortable but these racing seats are kind of hard.

Before you hate and make comments, read articles why Caddy engineers chose the 18's and ONLY 18's, because they wanted great handling as well as keeping the ride refined, unlike the "competition" that are rough riding. American Caddy engineers gave this luxury sports car the best of both worlds, and 18's allowed the use stiffer springs for better handling but with more rubber to absorb bumps.

I'll take 18s over 20s anyday. Especially if you take the car to a track. The savings alone in cost of tires is quite significant. Not everyone wants AWD. Enthusiasts, typically prefer the feeling of RWD.

I saw an interview with the head of engineering and they stated that if it did not make the car faster it was not put on the car, this includes AWD.

It was right behind BMW in sales figures.

Im glad, just picked up a 23 for under msrp! & it previously had a 10k+ markup on it.

Less unsprung mass, better handling and cheaper tire replacement. It fills the fender wells so it still looks good.
