This video shows how to reassemble a Shimano Triton TLD 25 Star fishing reel. This reel arrived in pieces. The video shows a step by step process for reassemble and hints on how to restore the reel if you find yourself in this situation.

Great video. The TLD Star Drag is a great reel. Bulletproof and easy to maintain. Look at the size of the SS main gear!

You forget to mention that they don't have much exterior parts that rust. Charter boats here on the west coast still have tons of these in use as rental reels paired with a seeker #30lb rod.

Any chance you have advice or do a video on how to remove the end bushing to replace it with a bearing as an upgrade?

I don't but most of the tie a small curved dental pick and a lot of penetrating oil will help pull it out - Dennis

I don't own any and only get a few in my shop. Most Avet owners send theirs to the factory for service. I will do a video when one comes in, but it may be a while - thanks for asking - Dennis
