I, generally, use a ratcheting, interchangeable regular-sized screwdriver for the initial loosening of screws. Here's a link to the brand I use:

Get some additional, varying sizes Flathead and Phillips bits while you're at it.

Hi my reels drag is weak at strike and when I push on the pre set nob the spool moves ,what can I do to fix this

I have a question. I have a Penn Fathom 40 nld2 and in the user manual it says that you must adjust the drag with the lever drag in the free spool position. In any other positions other than the free spool position it may damage the drag system. Do you know what parts become damaged if it's adjusted out side of the free spool position? And is it an easy fix?

Thanks for watching. Funny... I met with a guy doing the same thing on an international today. That's correct. Only in freespool. The cam area is usually the issue, if there is one. Easy fix? Depends. That'll be relative to your comfort and skill level.

@@TSGReelServiceHello. I made this by mistake (adjusted out side of the free spool position) but without tension, at home. I turned preposition button for little. Then i see that drag not in free position, switched to free spool and turned preposition button. How to know, did i damage the reel or not? i dont see any problem or changing in reel working. But its new reel never fishing, I plan to start fishing this spring. Maybe somewhere hidden damage which shows up under tension ? Thanks
