The blending of STORM and HEAT together in this scene is insanely genius. The music from two Getter OVAs where Go (Ichimonji) and Ryoma shine the most. Also, Getter being drawn in 2D is always awesome. And hey, they even used the OVA Mechasaurus'/Oni's roar on Dinosaur fortress. Say whatever you want about this show but you can't say that people who made this show doesn't love Getter.

やっぱ真ゲッターの戦いは見ていて力強い安心感がある。それと同時にBGMがOVAの主題歌って言うのは心を熱くさせてくれる。タラクが登場した時は真ブラックゲッターと竜馬が来てくれたと思って泣いたわ。

竜馬がベアー号に乗ってるということか… 真ゲッターは號が適正だと思う竜馬も良いけど號のめちゃくちゃな戦い方が真ゲッターをより輝かせてる機動力を活かした暴れ馬っぶりが號って感じ竜馬はパワーを活かした戦い方

作画崩壊が言われる本作アークだけど、実はかなり忠実に描いているのですね。漫画表現とアニメ表現はかなり違いがあり、それを追うとかえってアニメ表現では簡単になり過ぎたりする。アニメはソリッド動画なので、止め絵ではないからはっきり表現する分、原作漫画を表現するのは難しい。

ネオゲと新ゲの世界にはエンペラーがいない可能性があるネオゲの世界だと真ゲッター再封印(小説より)で火星には行けない&ドラゴンがいない(≒さらなる進化が不可能になる)し、新ゲだと竜馬が真っ向からゲッターと徹底抗戦する姿勢を見せつけたから聖ドラゴンと真ゲッター(に当たるゲッターロボ)と融合できないからね

Note: making Mars habitable wasn't actually what Shin Getter was trying to do. It had gotten so strong it was absorbing everything it touched, even it's own pilots, and they crashed into Mars so they could stop without absorbing Earth. *Shin Getter terraformed Mars by accident, while trying to self destruct so it didn't eat the planet*. That is how hax that machine is.

3. is not quite right, getter g only amplifier power for shin getter, because benkei increase amplifer to maximum so getter G evolved to shin dragon, when at that time shin getter have to deal with Andromeda army this is more like getter ray direct work , not shin getter doing

パイロット逹があれだったのもあるけど、真ゲッターが一番完成してる機体に見えるんよね…。ドラゴンはゲッターの意思寄りだけど、真は人の意思よりというか…。

完成してると書いたけど、ちょっと違うか…。作中で、一番超常現象を起こしたゲッターで有るのよね。これが、作中最高峰のパイロット逹がゲッター線を意思ごと捩じ伏せた姿にも見えるのかも。

The problem with this scene is that in Getter Robo Go manga it's a conclusion to everything we've seen. Schwarz's words said to Sho are result of his character arc, and of everything they went through together. Shin Getter's amazing power is even more amazing considering that Getter Go was at a disadvantage against numerous strong foes, but now balance has shifted drastically. In other words, this scene works best in context, but anime Arc couldn't provide any.

It had some context, as it explained why Shin Getter shouldn't be present and what, exactly, happened to it for those new to the series. However, we're likely not to get the full impact of this until and unless we get an adaptation of the rest of the Getter Saga.

@@user-qw1gj7us5g 「サーガ=石川漫画版」なんで俺もそう思ってます OVAは軒並みリメイクでパラレルだし(でも面白い)昔のTVアニメ版のゲッターシリーズは漫画とも微妙に毛色が違うし(漫画版が石川色強いだけ) なので石川原液の漫画版をこの声優陣で見たいですね………特に號の熱血櫻井ボイスが好き後タイールの映像化初のはずなのによくあれだけぴったりな人連れて来れたな

個人的な考察だけど、火星の真ゲッターと聖ドラゴンが融合してエンペラーになるのが本来の流れやと思う (以下、長文注意) じゃあゲッター天は何かと言われたら、多分だけどタラク&號やゲッター艦隊を率いてた武蔵みたいにドラゴンが今までの記憶を頼りに呼んだ分身みたいなものだと思うだから竜馬が乗ってるし、真ゲッターそのものからの進化ではなく初代の魔改造だとしたらあの初代ゲッター似の姿も納得できるしただ、タラクがより良いゲッターの進化の道を探るために遣わされたって言われてるのを考えるとアークを試すための関門って意味合いが強くて、だからこそ最後にアークも入り混じった新しいエンペラーになるのでは？という考察してる

I feel like gettersaurus's forms and attacks weren't fleshed out at all, but here are some ideas for them, gettersaurus 2 could be a tranodon with an energy bow gun on one arm, and gettersaurus 3 could be a triceratops with drills.

in some terms Shin is more poweful than Arc as Arc is a more controled version of Shin Getter. Meanwhile Shin Getter strong energy appetite of Getter rays and any matter is what set the stage to became .... 1st the proto Emperor seen in the last chapter and the Getter Emperor in the future.

Yup, similar idea. That part were Shin turns all freaky energy like with everyones faces on it was lifted directly from Getter Go, albeit with Tahir and Ryoma included and replace Sho with Kei. There was also an unrelated pair of eyes on it that may have been the Getter itself.

Technically, what Getter is is Evolution. It's neither evil not truly good, but Takuma and Kamui view it's *actions* as evil, which, from a human point of view, it kinda is.

They seriously need to make a season 2 and just use what they have with Armageddon and new getter robo and just drop what they already had with getter robo arc. Leaving the series with a disappointing cliffhanger is absolute stupid bullshit and Japan knows it. Evangelion is constantly keep getting done over and over when nobody asked for that sissy ass shit to be released just continue getter robo the one show that didn't get overhyped and stop giving use overhyped sissy shows.

One thing that Evangelion has that getter doesn’t, the main man behind it is still alive. To continue could be to disrespect the work done by Ishikawa if they don’t do it right and with the budget given they wouldn’t be able to do it Justice. Arc right now likely is the absolute best they can do with the given budget and it still looks insane but as you may have seen around, people revile Arc because it was given low amount of resources. The ending it has now I think is better than we could’ve asked for. They could’ve ended it when Getter Dragon appeared but no, they gave us an ending that inspired hope that their fight will continue on for the future they desire. Parallels Go’s ending in some ways
