This is the best cover of this song I've heard. It captures the vibe of godzilla being in pain and torment every waking moment. A stark contrast of the melodic version from the movie into a song of pure adrenaline and pain.

Thought a band cover would take away from the original, but not at all. Fills the despair with the sense of rage even more fittingly as Godzilla unleashed it’s atomic breath. Awesome to see this too with a band called “Gojira” being a thing. Few things quite as metal as Godzilla.
