@@sharebear421 I think the main issue with Medusa is that by the time you get to her you are absolutely starved for MP and will either have to backtrack to the terminal to heal and dodge everything on the way back or try to level up before the fight and hope you don't die in the process.

I was really surprised to learn that we would venture onto a modern day Earth. I was actually expecting most of the game to be in the 1400s. It's amazing how they call Tokyo as the Country of the Unclean Ones. In the minds of the Samurai, Earth is their Hell, but in the minds of the Unclean Ones, Mikado is their Heaven.

I find Medusa to be more challenging than the Minotaur. I remember using Zio accidentally which allowed her to wreck my team >.>

@@franciscarlo7711 dont remember my exact level back then but im sure its under 20 just looked for the demon in my conpendium and its toubyou that has zanma, i think he's the earliest demon to have the skill

I beat her her third try since i have to re fusion sun tun she, find a good dlc armor, that forced me to grind to level 20 (cuz i failed at negotiations forcing me to kill low level demons that are needed for fusion and dlc exp quest) and set up my party full of anti gun with Lham dearg as resist, avoid every annoying high dmg encounter to save mp just to beat her even easier than expected. P.s. It is Prentice difficulty alright (oh and the protagonist is only lvl 20)

Medusa was ridiculously hard for me, but it did allow me to find a cheese to easily kill her somehow. For some reason if you have Zhu Tun She in your party, and she kills everyone else, she’ll be stuck in a loop using bullet attacks against it, which Zhu is null to. She will never use her Zio attacks for some reason, even though if she did it would be certain death. Maybe the same thing happens if you have a demon null to electric, but I haven’t tried.

I think Medusa only uses elec on her second press turn. If you null gun her second turn gets skipped, so she ne:er gets to use elec. The AI in this game isn't very smart.

I just tested this. You probably got very lucky. Zio killed him in 2 turns and he can't heal.

Wait, it's THAT EASY?! I swear to god this boss has been SMT-ing me every single time I've fought her. Crit Talthum Shots, smirking, crit snake fangs into MORE crit snake fangs... and you literally just have to burst her down. I feel so cheated.

if youre confused as to why theyre afraid of angels its simply because in devil survivor there are angels which dosnt let you escape the lockdown (wont go in any mroe details as ive spoiled enough as it is)

I'll give it a shot... (spoilers ahead) East Mikado (where the MC and his friends live) is located ABOVE Tokyo. Tokyo is literally underground/buried and has much more advanced technology than Mikado. The MC & friends are the first people from Mikado to enter Tokyo in hundreds of years, as going there is "forbidden." They're on a mission to find a woman in Tokyo who's been turning people into demons. And that about sums it up.

I knew about Tokyo when I saw what SMT4 Apocalypse was about (yet to play. Want to beat the original one first). But I had no clue it was in this game!

Even though these two game are very different, this scene gave me a skyword sword vibe, like the protagonist live in a place in the sky, and when they go down to the surface, the place is fill with enemy.

Man, Omega got stupidly lucky here, even after letting Medusa buff her offense. It took me *so many tries* to beat her because she kept targeting my most vulnerable demons and getting lucky with crits.

Aha! I guessed right, I thought that mikado existed above earth, or Tokyo at least :P. So is this game an explored outcome of the result of humanity being stupid and screwing the world up via failed demon control or something involving such?
