its said in-game that tiamat doesnt exactly have a will of its own, requiring someone to control it to guide its actions. yoko was *stated* to be the only one that can control tiamat, but it appears that mastema can also control tiamat. it might seem out of pocket at first but it makes more sense if you pay attention to mastema's phrasing as the nahobino refusing to create a new world as god as him failing to "carry on the will of our gracious lord". this would seem to imply that mastema serves mandala as he already said he doesn't serve the creator AKA god/yhvh. this could also relate to him saying hes a higher being than yoko. he could mean this very literally and it's why he can control tiamat.

No. Tiamat is a figure in either Babylonian or Mesopotamian mythology. The one in Godzilla is it's own thing.

My reccomendation is to focus on luster candy spams, have an elemental user that doesnt rely on ice, a phys user, and a light/dark user too. My set up was. Nahobino- Max Strength, Murakumo, whatever abilities boost phys.(Use him to attack main body or help devestate the heads). Support demon- Spam Luster Candy, Life drain to recover MP and maybe have a specialty in elements to help. Holy/ Dark Demon- Helps defeat the dragon head and take away its impalers Animus. Good to have a heal spell on them. Elemental demon: Great for the Camel head and can have some other skills to help. My goal was power up everyone, have 2 demoms destroy 1 or 2 heads per turn while nahobino atgacks the head weak to physical for press turns. Than Murakumo the main body when Omagotomi: Crit is up while the other heads are dealt with. Carry some phy damps for that Magatsui move it has or someone with phys block. Demons that resist ice and null phys are heavily encouraged.

Not a great Tiamat design, honestly. Too robotic and latex-looking. Tiamat definitely feels they deserved something more monstrous.

Doi is more into designs that are reminiscent of sentai genres and high fantasy with that odd cyber punk flare. I like it but do agree Tiamat should have had a more monsterous design.Would be awesome if they did an SMT4 and got someone like Guiermo DelToro to guest design some bosses.

No it's still Lucifer. You fight Mastema in the Chaos Route and Tehom in the Law Route as the second of the three final bosses.

@@dustinalan8425 Not in a row. You get to save and prepare in between each battle. But believe me when I say that Tiamat and Tehom are some of the hardest endgame bosses in the entire franchise.
