Brent Smith's voice was amazing to start with but it seems to have gotten better with time. One of the best live vocals I've heard.

Recently I was lucky enough to see Shinedown live and they were freaking amazing. I loved every second of it. All the memories that some of their music was attached to made me smile so much. Before the concert, I hadn't been to one in 7 years and I don't think I could've picked a better one to go to.

Coming from a guy who watched the Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show, I've listened to a lot of bands. Most need at least two guitars to fill sound and even then, they don't always sound good. I'm really amazed by Shinedown's song crafting. It's some of the best I've ever heard from a three piece band. I hope they have a long career.

Ive seen it before but the way Zach looks at Brent on the lines "If you only knew how i refuse to let you go even when your gone" gives me chills every time. Zach is basically screaming at him "im not going anywhere and we are not going to leave you. We will help you through anything".

Okay here's a couple of things that I have noticed because my ear is tuned into this 1. I know for a fact that Brent can sing beautifully live because I've actually seen a Shinedown concert and I've seen them live and his voice, completely raw, is amazing! 2. Brent is really singing at this shoe, but this concert was filmed and edited with the album track over his voice and it completely shadows his raw talent, which is very disappointing. 3. I can tell the difference in his voice from The Sound of Madness days compared to his voice now on the ATTENTION ATTENTION record. I can't even tell the difference in his voice from The Sound of Madness days and the Amaryllis days. There is a complete difference.
