(We're under 100 fans away from 50,000 in the fanbase!) That was a REALLY great song, I enjoyed the hell out of it. I don't think Shinedown had been on my radar that much prior to this but the singer's chops, and the group effort on the whole of the guitar solo, really won me over.

This was my introduction to Shinedown when I first heard it back in the day. Brent Smith's vocals blew me away, and I've been a fan ever since. Now, I'm going to keep saying it. If you want to see a song with another unique time signature and groove, you've got to listen to Godsmack's song, "Devil's Swing."

Agree with what you’re saying, but his voice is at a different level than most. They are a top 3 band since the 2000’s. The charts back that up. Good review!

I know it's the "official video", not normally the lead singer Brent Smith is pretty fond of reactors. He even sat down and did a podcast with one. Now how his label feels about it, that might be a different story. I noticed you picked up on this being one of their slower songs. Most of their songs are a good bit heavier. The song I always point out to for people to listen to first when it comes to Shiendown is "Sound of Madness."

Hey Dave would love to see your reaction to Erik Gronwall's cover of I Will Always Love You. He was until very recently singing with Skid Row but had to leave due to health reasons.
