I have always had respect for SHINee but I have never had more respect for them than at this moment. It's amazing how they can be strong enough to go out and perform this song. Today is the first time I can watch this live performance & also first time listen to the whole Story of Light album (after I bought it in Seoul 2018) I just kept the album for 4 years on my cabinet & scared to listen to it because I know I'll cry. But now my heart is stronger & ligther after seeing their last comeback Don't Call Me & Atlantis, they seem brighter & can enjoy the stage again. This performance and music video made the reality of Jonghyun's death hit hard. SHINee was my first ever kpop band that I listened to and followed closely. By listening to their music, they changed me into the person that I am today and also helped me open my eyes to the world of kpop. Once I heard of Jonghyun's sudden death, I was devastated. To know I would never see his glowing smile, hear his angelic voice, or even watch his genius mind write another song was one of the worst things to accept. I don't think I fully accepted the reality of his passing until this song was created. Seeing that lone microphone in the middle of the music video and seeing that clear empty spot in the middle of this performance, finally made me accept it all. I'm so proud of all of the SHINee members for coming back and staying strong. Please continue to inspire us all and I hope that Jonghyun really knows that he did well and was well loved. We miss you and hope you are in a better place now.

When Jonghyun passed, I was still getting into kpop, but I knew who SHINee was and I was heartbroken when I heard the news. I still wouldn’t call myself a shawol as I haven’t listened to SHINee as much as other bands, but I do miss Jonghyun terribly and almost cried watching the MV for this song. These boys are incredibly strong for going out there and performing this song. Onew’s “You did well” and glancing to the sky was what got me; I’m sure Jonghyun is listening to them from the sky. I’m really proud of them. Jonghyun, I miss you and I hope you are much happier where you are now ♥️
