@@adg0913 he does it on purpose i think. If I remember correctly he said that he likes Taemin so much that he doesn't want to get too close to him so he can always look at him as his idol. Like he won't lose that fweling of awe and admiration that a close relationship would bring. Or something to that effect. I think it was on Why not the Dancer.

@@devakibhagwat6146 Taemin’s a natural introvert so he is probably shy/aloof at first but as he gets more comfortable he is more open and warm. It just probably took a little time and Lucas felt the awkwardness in the beginning. I’m an introvert so I relate to Taem well.

Oh yeah. Lucas was even more relaxed about it. Who was the most intimidated was Taeyong. Taeyong is probably the shyest in there, and the one who talks the least. In the live of the beginning of the group, we can see that Taemin tries to help him to communicate with the rest (Kai and Baekhyun, besides himself). After a while, in other interviews he can mention how difficult it was to relate to his hyungs, and said that Taemin helped him to overcome this. If I were to look at the group, and without knowing the age of any, I would put Taemin as the youngest, and perhaps Taeyong as the oldest. xD

@@maddypaddy6562 i’ve seen him speak confidently about his performances twice. i’ve heard him doubt himself many times. he’s also never fully satisfied with his work & always strives to be better. he always takes compliments with gratitude & humility. he’s also the first (of not one of) idols to decline fan presents to redirect them to ppl in need 🤷♀️

@@krystal3709 I believe this is what happened. We're only fans so we adore him as the persona he projects. For the idols tho, they know exactly just how much the amount of work needed to be in Taemin's position now, his worth and values in kpop scenes. Not only idols, but even as an artist or anyone in any field of work, it's really not easy to develop and build a name for ourselves, that ppl respect us for our creations, that in the world of kpop he's a brand and a genre. Which is why probably they look so intimidated in front of him

especially for the younger idols born in 98, 99, 00 etc taemin is a legend. I'm 99 and I was 9 when SHINee debuted so my youth was literally defined by him. no wonder so many people are nervous around him, he's the idol who inspired others to be idols.

I mean i get it Taemin is something else. Just one fine ass man. To see from how’s he’s grown from this cute little maknae to basicallly a sex symbol is always mesmerizing. Feel so weird watching this video. Like I usually watch Taemin when he's with SHINee hyungs, like the clumsy, magic hand and often-being-scolded Taemin. I never realize the impact that Taemin has. At this moment, I am so proud of our Taemin. But tomorow, Taemin is still our clumsy maknae.
