When I throw off the hump, many of my pieces turn out with S-cracks on the bottom. How is this prevented?

@@ShinobuHashimoto Thank you for responding! I do not get s-cracking anymore after making sure my pieces dry evenly and slowly, but I still seem to get s-cracking after bisque or glaze firing.

There are several causes of S-cracks that I think. · It is not tightly secured when making it. · The bottom is too thick. I will be careful about these.
