Another strangely fitting detail with the Beast Ball Shuckle combination, Beast Ball's throw animation opens up a wormhole which has a similar pattern to the bug net that the Net Ball has, so with Shuckle being a Bug and partially wormlike, this match is almost uncanny because of how perfect it is.

You should have chosen Espeon for the Friend Ball. The white bottom references Eevee's shiny, and the green and red dot match Espeon with its red gemstone. The yellow lines can reference that it evolves during the day, and obviously through high friendship. I'm surprised that it didn't immediately catch your eye.

I know it's my bias talking since it was my first shiny in sword and shield, but I will never forget about Grapploct! Literally the first Clobbopus I encountered was shiny and I wasn't prepared to see the square shiny animation since I didn't know a lot about the pokemon.

The only issue I have with the color / ball rankings is that it really mostly takes into consideration colors and not theming. I think Fast Ball works great with regular Voltorb and Electrode because of their impressive speed, and the fact that it’s not just a standard Poké Ball color, but also with an electric symbol upon it, the symbol of their very type! I catch a lot of Electric-Types in Fast Balls for this very reason. A fitting ball for many of the Electric Type.

my most recent favorite pairing is Forretress with the Luxury Ball, or any Pokemon that got a golden texture in SV. the new texture on it is AMAZING!! i also like the (specifically Future) Paradox mons in the Timer Ball, just for the entry animation since i think it fits very well thematically! awesome video!!

I think I probably would have picked Jangmo-o for the Love Ball and Dragapult for the Moon Ball, but I totally agree with the rest! I think I might have to make some more exceptions for my Luxury-Balls-only rule if I ever get any of these.

My first shiny was a shinx in legends arceus and I caught her in an ultra ball because that game sadly doesn’t have a luxury ball. I named her lucky and Luxray is now my favourite Pokémon!

I got my first shiny in the main series games by breeding for it - a shiny Galarian Ponyta! I bred it specifically to have good IVs & to be in a Love Ball. I've got a collection of breedables in one of my PC boxes in SWSH, all of them are caught in neat Pokeballs.
