LOL it was literally the first part of this video I planned out, and probably my favorite part of it aside from the shiny. No, I like wearing short socks when I exercise so I put them around my shorts waist instead, and it helps them not fall off when I run. But they were definitely present! Thanks Matt 😁

Yeah, I never gave it thought before since this is the first time I’ve ever had a feebas in these games. But it makes sense since there’s no poffins, pokeblocks, or prism scale

So I don’t think I’d go for one unless I used a HGSS that has the event left over & I can pair my walkers to it, or if I find an old walker that was left on an event route

This is kinda funny. Recently I've been taking my pokewalker everywhere with me after getting some of the Japanese exclusive routes from the DNS exploit. Been a lot of fun and a nice little way to encourage me to get out more and check stuff out since I've moved to a new area. One of the routes (I think the one you get from a Jirachi?) Has a 1% chance of finding a psychic TM and I've been gunning for that.

@shinycollector That's super sick! I'd kill for a distribution cart, they are such cool little pieces of history. The items are great there. Amity Meadow is also kind of ridiculous, it has like a 30% chance for a star piece and that has helped me rake in so much money.

When you pair a new pokewalker it seems to reset the watts, does that also reset the routes?

No, luckily not. If you unlocked a route once, it's unlocked forever even if your watt count gets back to 0.

So how exactly does this work without an action replay and using legit catridges?? I have a 3ds which I assume can then patch the cartridge or something? Would any other pokemon I catch within the game still be classed as authentic should I want to transfer them up to Gen 5 or even further to later gens? I assume the patch only affects any pokewalker pokemon you get as becoming unauthentic (Only the shiny ones?). Really considering doing this as I love the pokewalker and it'd be really cool to have a shiny one in my HG/SS cartridge. Just don't want to muck up my cartridges. Sorry for questions, I'm rather new to all this :)

Hey! So it’s not a patch in either case. It’s a cheat and it only takes effect while using the cheat, the only thing permanently affected would be any pokemon you get from the pokewalker. Aside from that, it does also affect the spiky ear pichu event from ilex forest. But again, if you don’t want it to, just don’t have the cheat on when you get that. So yes, everything else from the game is unaffected, fully legit, and can transfer no problem

We desperately need an in depth guide on how to setup the AR code to unlock the shinies for the pokewalker. I’m wondering if you can unlock them and then save the game with them unlocked so you don’t have to keep using the AR after that

@@sweettea5166 hey there! Action replay codes don’t apply patches, they’re use-case. So you can’t save and keep it applied like that. You need it active each time you transfer. And that’s it, that’s literally the guide

Yes, that’s correct! I did get one more after this without it. I basically emulated action replay using custom firmware on 3DS for that one. Resources for both are in the description
