That weapon is a boarding pistol. It's essentially a 10 gauge shotgun sawed way down. It's used when someone is trying to board your boat/ship. Obviously a close up self defense weapon.

Shipwreck was definitely one of my favorites from the cartoon.

He was my dad’s favorite. The Jack Nicholson voice always cracked him up.

Congrats on getting Shipwreck so early. He first appeared in the second 5 part mini series The Revenge of Cobra - The Weather Dominator. It is my favorite 5 part mini series out of the 4 not including The Movie. He has some of the best character development through out the series. He also appears in the third mini series with Snake Eyes as they learn about how to destroy the Pyramids of Darkness.

I exclusively collect horror, but these G.I. Joe figures really really make me want to "dabble".

Hasbro Pulse arrived this morning! First impressions, I love this dude. I loved him in the cartoon and as soon as I saw this figure I knew I was getting it. Out of the box, he looks amazing. Like seriously, I absolutely recommend this dude. As far as complaints.. some of the paint from his sleeves is on his arms, but it's a really small amount and I'm not gonna notice it most of the time but it is not perfect. Other than that, his belt was a bit loose but I managed to pose it how I liked. Really, nothing major for complaints. This dude kicks ass. I do wish they would keep one damn box style though. I'm trying to display them in my storage room and now I have 3 different shapes and sizes of boxes. And the artwork on the side doesn't match up anymore! That said, of the 3 boxes I prefer the most recent style the most. You can't see the figure, but if that's the design they're going with ultimately, than this is better than the previous version.

There is an easter egg in the front glamour shot, the bike in the background is from the p.s.a. he was in. I love this figure because I had the original and it's pure nostalgia!

So far, my sons and I have collected around 11-12 Classified because we started late but Shipwreck is one of our favorites that we have so far. The figure looks great!

Shipwreck is one of my favs too!!! I was close to stopping the classified line when the Falcon wave came out. I think Hasbro has made some good improvements with The Shipwreck wave and the new pre-order waves recently opened for pre-orders. Thanks for sharing.

I’m pretty sure hat-less Shipwreck comes from the Devil’s Due comics. As for Polly, she’s obviously recent lost a foot in the war on Cobra. I think this is the first Polly with a peg leg.

I think shipwreck is one of my favorite classified figures. Even though i hated waiting so long for him I am glad we got the cartoon inspired minor update instead of the wave 1-3 Modern updated figures.

I think they gave her a peg leg so she can attach plug into the rope good ….a peg on the bottom of her feet obviously wasn’t working …..probably made her lean forward or back doing it that way ……pretty creative thinking to come up with that as an alternative…in a meeting someone had a 💡 go off and said ….let’s give her a peg leg🤷🏻

I had the original figure as well as a kid. Loved it so much. And yes the hat is iconic. Though I remember the creepy " for a kid" episode where he supposedly had a family. And they were clones and melted. He didn't wear his hat then. So I can see it without. But obviously I display him with.

I agree with you about the hat. As a matter of fact, if you dropped that hairpiece down the furnace register and never saw it again, it would be just fine.

Definitely getting Shipwreck. I like to get all Classified figures that come with animals. Shipwreck's great because he has a unique look. But yeah, without the hat I wouldn't know it's him. That hair looks a little too nice for what I imagined Shipwreck having under that hat. Great figure.

I just got this figure and love it...pure Nostalgia. A shame it doesnt have a file card. As a kid i always remembered his name as Hector Delgado...puerto rican. It was like a real persons name and bio. This has no info on the back!

Looks like his mustache and beard is missing a little paint ……second review I’ve seen where his figure has paint issues on his head …not super noticeable but when you zoom right in on him ,it’s there. he still looks great tho and I can’t wait for mine!!

Just got my Shipwreck today. It looks amazing, but... it's so odd, the right arm will not bend no matter how much pressure I put on it. Upon closer inspection it looks like the swivel joint plastic piece was never separated from the rest of the arm. It's like the entire arm is one solid piece of plastic, even the color (vs. the working left arm elbow/joint which has a slight different tone than the rest of the arm). Anyone else run into this issue? Never had that problem with any Classified Series figure.

Actually Kyle, strongly disagree on the hat - I immediately switched to the regular hair and may as well have binned the hat as I’m never using it. The only hat I’d want is a beanie like the later, more modern version of him. Did the same with Jaye, the cap stays in the package!

Shockwave is my number one want for this line, but Shipwreck was a VERY close second. Overall I'm happy, but I'm disappointed in the hair swap gimmick. I'd much rather have an alternate head. I buy these for my 8 year old son to play with and I fear the cap will get lost in the toy box. I already have Lady Jaye in a bag somewhere waiting for me to get around to gluing it in place. Now I have another.

I opened my Shipwreck yesterday and his hair without his hat is ruined 💔 It looks like it got caught in an assembly line machine and grinded up....

Who knew Shipwreck had that head of lettuce under his hat. Wow

now im really convinced he looks like a young vincent price. its a pass for me. no extra hands( these soldiers need saluting hands at minimum), weapons are blah, and no polly with wings spread equals a lazy addition to the line. good review though.

Great figure chip wreck but Hasbro has to Redo hin again . because the fact thst you hevf to change his Hair piece and and hat for another hair lice and leaving thr head naked and deformed that way is definitely wrong .plus thf Paint job is lscl of quality control on this one .what a bummer , whst a disappointment on hssvto to designe it this way , when yoi have hqd two different head 🗣️ heads to swap or just keep it to the original one. Lazy mess on Hasbro's part . know the only way not to loose his hair and hat is by GLUING IT TO THE HEAD 🗣️ UNFORTUNATELY 😂
