Heading out of Toyama prefecture we stop at two historical villages. Once we get into Gifu prefecture we visit one more of these villages. These places are on the Unesco World Heritage list and are deeply rooted in Japan's history. Tourists can enter, explore, and even spend the night in these towns but people actually live here! We visit Ainokura, Suganuma and Shirakawa village. See which one we loved the most!
