Do you paid for the stamps?
@TetsuReid2 ай бұрын
Yes, they are usually ¥500 but some smaller temples have them for ¥300 or special double paged ones for ¥1000! You can also collect regular stamps for free at train stations and michi-no-ekis!

Very useful for anyone considering van life! You should include the total cost it took to build your van as well, as I’m sure that was a major upfront expense.

Hi there! You don’t need a ticket! You can pay with cash when you exit the bus, or use an IC card such as Suica or Passmo. At the moment you can only get these IC cards on your phone, or one available for tourists at the airport. But cash is totally fine too!

I loved this video! The part about trying different camera angles was very insightful. It was nice to see the interesting food cooking method at the restaurant. All those trees at the onsen were beautiful! Your vlogs make me want to travel around Japan but I want to learn more Japanese before going.
@TetsuReid3 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching! We try to try each unique food an area has. Japan has a lot of English signs and menus so it’s easy to get around with limited Japanese. Good luck on your studies! Learning languages is tough work.

It's a beautiful spot! apparently we recently heard that it doesn't always look like the photos, it really depends on the condition of the day. For example the water could be musty and cannot see any koi! So maybe we were lucky!

Regarding Shirohone onsen, can you ware swimsuit in the onsen? Or all people are naked? Thanks.
@TetsuReid5 ай бұрын
Shirahone onsen is a small onsen town! Most of the onsen here are part of a ryokan. you cannot wear a swimsuit to the one we went too. There is another onsen there called Awanoyu that has a mixed bath that might let you wear a swimsuit but we are not sure, according to the reviews no one goes in with a swimsuit!
