Why try to provoke an already agrevated polterguiest who dose not want you where you are in the first place. After all he did tell them earlier to leave and the crazy blonde sends Karl back down there and his crazy behind provokes the dam thing. That why his tail was locked in the safe, thank goodness they went look for him or his angry spirit would have also taken up residents in the basement of Gergyong Hall.

Sometimes when people are overwhelmed with curiosity, common sense tends to be thrown out to the back of the mind. Carl please forgive me for saying this, but you were clearly damn stupid to go into a safe and shut the doors when you are completely alone. The scare lasted about a good two hours; but imagine if he went ghost hunting alone.

There's just something about the early 2000s TV shows on paranormal investigation that make me happy. I wish I could get Dead Files on KZfaq. That was the best show. Amy as the medium, the cop doing the investigation of things that happened in the property/ town that could possibly leave a bad entity or spirit. Also has the sketch artist drawing what Amy describes.

Sadly Chris was shafted very badly by Yvette and Karl after this last series for Living TV ended. They tried to destroy his reputation and used people like Fred Batt to slander him.

@@nettsinthewoods3029 David Wells also had a blazing row with them. By 2007 he felt the team were going too far down the Satanic path in calling up Satan and witches. At the Halloween live of 2007 it all came to ahead, when Karl and Stuart refused any protection, and placed themselves in a Satanic circle where tradition said you would die. Even though David felt the tradition was nonsense, the fact that Karl and Stuart ignored his advice and laid down in the circle, along with the fact that both men have families, he felt it was enough, and that they just were not listening to him, so after a huge row about content he chose to leave in November 2007.

@@johnking5174 really? Your knowledge is interesting. I wondered why all the mediums vanished! I totally agree with David in all counts ( a star medium too) I stopped watching when the occult was pulled in. Some things are nonsense, but you don’t mess with satanism or old magic. I hated the avid use of the ouija boards too. The team had a great format to start with ( the screaming aside) when the mediums left, it wasn’t worth watching. They destroyed Derek Acorah’s career, what ever his faults, he was in fact a very good medium. I think the team suffer from arrogance and ignorance.

@@nettsinthewoods3029 Derek Acorah actually planned to leave at the end of 2004, he said he would have preferred to have left after Halloween 2004. However Living TV and Most Haunted begged him to stay and so he remained for 2005. However Karl knew Derek wanted to quit at the end of 2005, and so literally they planned to kick him out the door in a very nasty way, using Ciaran O'Keeffee's feelings that Derek was faking.

I want kerin to in on an investigation. Who would lock their team mate in the safe on purpose? I know he is suppose to try to debunk these phenomena, but you can't debunk what you aren't there to see or witness.

Thank you! I'm a skeptical believer through my own experiences, and it's easy to dismiss when you're watching on a tv (or laptop in my case lol) and not there in person. Part of what makes it paranormal is how your body responds to what it perceives.

@Flashheart I agree with matrixing and ambience at night in an unfamiliar place (especially if it has a reputation for being haunted so you're already in that mindset) but for me it doesn't explain blatantly seeing stuff during the day. 🤔🤷‍♀️

WARNING at 18:00 - they are in "night vision" but they may as well have been just using their normal camera, as just look at the amount of daylight streaming in through those curtains. That room was bright as a button when they filmed this scene. So come their very last season for Living TV - which this episode was part of, they were lying to the viewers that it was dark, when anyone with any sense can see it wasn't here.

I met Yvette and Carl at Tintagel in the old Post office which is 1400s.They were talking to 7 Spirits and I talked to a lady from the 1500s.I knew she was female. They were tapping around us.

Carl says he was locked in that safe for two hours, why didn't he call out to get their attention then? Two whole hours, I would have been yelling out! Why did it take so long for the others to realise they hadn't seen him all that time?

There have been just two main historians on the show - Richard Felix who appeared in a season 1 episode at Derby Gaol, and then became their resident historian from season 2 until season 8. Leslie replaced him from season 10 until the show ended on Living TV in 2010, and in the rebooted version since 2014 they have axed the role of historian from the show.

25:40 to 25:45 I heard the footsteps OMG!!! The man with the camera obviously didn't move or walk to get that kind of sound. Also, the steps sounds like different, it's like an audio effect like sound. Idk I also heard the whining and tapping. I also saw the shadow behind that Carl following him. 😂 "He's" making fun of you guys. What I got here is that spirit is not antagonizing you guys, just making noises to communicate.

Side note: David may not be a servant. My ancestor David Lloyd Blayney was a young faced , bearded noble man who was one of the core family members in the house. So he would have acted like he owned the house, and he would have been deeply unhappy with the idea of others in his house, especially non Blayneys

You know where you are going and what you may experience. I really enjoy your show, but I hate the bloody screaming. Really, you know it may happen so if you don't want to be scared why are you doing it?
