I’ve only run across your channel recently, but I’ve quickly become addicted to it! I highly doubt I’ll ever actually MAKE any of the lovely items (I literally don’t even own a sewing needle🤣)… but it’s such a beautiful and delicate art, with so much equally fascinating history to it! I could sit and watch videos on the subject for hours on end!😁💖👍

Огромное вам спасибо за такие замечательные видео уроки. Сегодня я сделала свою первую шляпку. Выбор синамей у нас небольшой, но мне очень хотелось попробовать. Мне очень понравилось. Хочу делать красивые шляпки из синамей. Благодарю вас!

Wonderful information. I wish I had access to the last two items you showed (black woven mat and embroidered sinamay). I would use them to make one of those half hat fasinators that look similar to huge headbands. They were worn at the end of the 1940's and the beginning of the 1950s. Question for your next Q&A: What is paper mat and is it still used in millenary today?

I am new to this hat making... I have to say I'm really enjoying learning all of this. I am having trouble finding where to purchase sinamay from and I have never even seen the ones that you have been showing us today. Of course I am confused (as usual...these "Senior Moments" are getting beyond a joke lol!) I wanted to know about the memberships but I have just amswered my own question...the top level is what I need to make sure I dont miss the "members only" videos, or at least thats my idea of what it says...honestly I am getting loopier by the day!
