That was Iz*one looking shocked and Iz*one's Chaewon was the guest singer on Moonbyul's Selfish. Red Velvet's Seulgi was featured on the original recording but she wasn't available for the MAMA performance so Moonbyul Invited Chaewon to join her. There's a funny video of the other Iz*one members being jealous of Chaewon. You can also see them in the background fangirling during Wheein's solo. Hwasa's costume caused a controversy because Koreans thought it was too sexy. It caused enough of a ruckus that RBW even issued a statement saying they didn't see a problem with it and clarifying that the girls chose their own outfits (apparently people were blaming the stylists). Hwasa said nothing. Instead, for their next performance at an award show shortly afterwards she wore lingerie, as tho to say "If you thought the red outfit was too sexy then how do you like this one, bitches?" Mamamoo's show-stopping performance went viral and was the highlight of the award show. You're right that they deserve more international attention. We've been blessed with an all-star group of world class performers who are uniquely different but complement each other perfectly and we should appreciate them. I think the thing that elevates them to the next level and creates magic on stage is their chemistry as best friends who believe they were destined to be together whether or not they were in a group or led completely different lives. Imo Mamamoo is simply one of the best girl groups of all time - any era, any language. 😂💖

this was their first time at the mamas and they were only given 8 minutes to perform... i love that despite that they insisted on giving every member a minute to do whatever they wanted solo since that's something very important to these girls, keeping their individuality while also being a harmonious whole. and it's so impressive that they manage to keep that balance because it's a very, very tough thing to find

Yes, they are like a puzzle, each one of them brings something new to the table, if you see their solos you will realize how differente their songs styles are, how different their voices are, but they fit so well together, and they really do love each other, i think that is what makes them hamonize so well... their souls are compatable. It is actually amazing how they found this 4 extremelly talented women and put them together, if you think about it... it is not fair with other groups, and i'm not saying other groups are not good, they are very good and talented, is just that Mamamoo is oustanding.

I was surprised that hwasa was hated wearing this outfit while solar was also wearing a outfit that showed her thighs, I mean what's the hate about? They all were amazing. Also I know this is out of context but somehow I loved solar's and moonbyul red outfit a lot, moonbyul's was more of a favorite cause she was wearing a red jacket over that red outfit monochrome outfit are just my obsession, also hwasa all white outfit while they were receiving awards, maybe because of the texture of the outfit that I prefer a lot♥️

I'm so glad you are doing their live performances. Mamamoo = talent and great personalities I hope you can check out their live performance called Immortal Song Medley. Its a medley of songs they performed at a singing competition show called Immortal Songs. They have been there about 14 times and have won 3 times! (Which no other idol group has done before). And they performed a shorter compiled version at their concert. Its amazing to watch 🤗
