SHOCKING Stream Incident - MrBeast Makes Poker Pro FURIOUS

Doug Polk Poker

Doug Polk Poker

Күн бұрын

This poker hand is insane. Just absolutely ridiculous. Phil Hellmuth limps in with pocket nines and faces multiple raises. He somehow finds himself in a $100,000 pot against ‪@MrBeast‬ with an underpair. Once the hands are revealed, he loses his mind. He can't believe what just happened. How did things go so far off the rails?

he tries to trap everybody all the time. he wants that feeling of...i out smarted you, but youre just letting the fish suck out most of the time. fancy play syndrome. he should of jammed. if anyone calls with those hideous hands then he has a legit melt down. i used to sandbag all the time...but i also knew the players that played at the casino. i knew what i could get away with. playing with these donks (minus dwan) you have to wait for the big hands and crush them. he was under the gun with 99. thats a tough spot in any game.

@miked4309 he just plays like he wants every hand to go to showdown. Even if he's in position and his hand needs protection. It's insane. Then he could flop the nuts and he'd overjam 6x pot first to act with 5 people behind. Like the hand vs Polk where they both flopped a straight and Polk folds because Hellmuth plays it so poorly
@paulkim2183
@paulkim2183 Жыл бұрын
Phil tends to forget about a lot of poker basics because he thinks no one plays better than him. Maybe on average throughout a game, but anyone can outplay him on one hand. His arrogance caused him to lose more than he should have. Every card on the flop beats his hand. He had 6 outs after the flop. Any Jack, or the last two 9s. One nine was folded, but he doesn't know that. What else is there to do besides fold when anything beats you. Also, going to the flop five handed means someone is going to hit. He ignored everything he should have paid attention to and got wrecked. Tony G was right, Phil should just retire. His self-deification is destroying his game.

There is something that happens in video games; wherein 'good' players when knowing they are facing a 'lesser skilled' player, will lose to that player. They take more risks because 'I'm the better player, I should win'. It's a fallacy that it appears Phil Hellmuth finds himself victim to. This isn't the first time this has happened to him.

How is Phil favourite on this flop? No way graphics are right? 66 percent fav on KQJ with 99 , 23 people in the hand. Oh silly me, just realised they are factoring the “White Magic” equity into the mix??? In that case maybe he 90 percent fav ?

I love Phil's reasons for losing a hand. "I knew it" "Idiot Player" "Who does that?". He wants everyone to play by rules he knows. To beat him just do the unexpected.

Uh 5 way pot against 3 overs, yup let’s call another 10 k, he has a gut shot to the straight I guess, but if he hits that, the Ace has him drawing dead

So idk what the hell Phil was doing in this hand, I agree with most of what you said Doug... however I think the one thing Phil did right was limping in at the beginning. Because it's so out of control there's no need to raise when you know if it gets too out of hand you'll probably be laying your hand down anyway. Let them dictate the action so you can lose the least or win the most... just my opinion.
