Hello everyone! So I have an update! The Jackson family still are not reunited with baby Mila. She is still under the care of a foster family, the same family where she is experiencing health issues as far as her vaginal health. She has since been to the doctors to be treated twice. They will not be able to get a court hearing until April 20th. The judge dismissed their emergency hearing, so now they have to wait until the 20th. KEEP PRAYING FOR THE FAMILY TO BE REUNITED!

The pediatrician is the one to blame. Something definitely isn't right with this pediatrician. My grandchild had jaundice and we returned home but had to go back later for treatment. Someone need to look into this pediatrician to see if he or she has prior complaints. CPS is disgusting. You don't remove a child out of a home without true facts and proper investigation. I can not believe lawenforcement did what they did it's just horrible!!

@@reptiles3244 Jaundice is a very common thing in newborns. It is really not that deep. You need to calm down advocating for these hospitals. If they want to naturally treat their child using herbs and remedies that's their right. Black people have a reason not to want to deal with hospitals and it's not illegal to care for your child at home and have a home birth.

You can not treat a newborn at home for jaundice. The child has to go under a light. The widwife could not take care of this diagnosis

Yes you can. A lot of newborns are released with jaundice and it's very common to treat this with sunlight.

Did the police and CPS use the other woman name to gain access to this child? this mother seems intelligent and aware. its easy to schedule mandatory medical appointments, if there is proof of real threat, and simultaneously keep this child in her parents care. Officers, CPS, ambulance, and a firetruck showing up as a show of force knowing they had no legal jurisdiction to take the baby at that time. What is that? That's not a rational move, that's something else

Who shows up to remove a newborn in the middle of the night! Movement at night when hospital staff is low, Indicates to me this was not about the child’s safety! It was ment to scare them into submission, to not want their 3rd child. Their are Federal Laws that protect you from this State Sanctioned Behavior.

What's disturbing is that the child wasn't admitted directly from the check up if the jaundice was as life threatening as the doctor insisted it was. The doctor definitely had an ego thing and unnecessarily assertive his perceived authority. I hope he gets sued.

@@reptiles3244 in cases of gross negligence, but this case was not that. These parents weren't negligent, the doctor, cps and emergency services were. How does a different person end up on the affidavit? The system is negligent in this case, not the parents.👀

By the way I almost died from jaundice when I was born. I had to have blood transfusions. So it can be a serious problem

@@kingt9640 Not all case's are the same. I would take a Dr's opinion over a midwife any day. If it were my baby and a Qualified Physician said my baby needed to be treated at the hospital I would be racing to the hospital. The Dr's concern was great enough that he made multiple attempt's to contact them and they refused to respond. The Dr. reporting them was protocol. Now as far as how social services and law enforcement handled it is another matter all together. Not having the proper paperwork and it under someone else's name is highly disturbing. That's on them not the Dr. If the Dr. feels it had to be reported that's it. He did his job. I just wish they had done what was right by taking the baby to the hospital. Now their stuck in the system and everyone knows how horrible that is

@@kingt9640 midwives are not proper medical staff. They don't have the training or knowledge to treat a bilirubin levels of 27.1 which is 7.1 over the danger zone for brain damage

Thankfully reunited now. However, problem was the ungoing war dictirs wages on any other healthcare workers that would threaten their "business" instead if working with them. It all depends on how servere the jaundice is. Yes it could be life threatening. if the mid wife was able to treat the jaundice why did they take the baby to the doctor in the first place, goodness forbid if the baby would have died either the mid wife or the doctors ass would be on the line. So we all must use wisdom in crucial moments. You will get your baby back but the mid wife needed to respond with the physician they should have worked together and all of this could have been avoided

Sorry the parents are not innocent. Their baby needed care that was only available at the hospital. The at home treatment wasn't working. Their refusal to follow the Drs care was neglect.

The officers were wrong for proceeding with the wrong paperwork. Also, it could’ve been the courts that put the wrong person on the paperwork not the Doctor. This was a whole messy situation. I feel so sad for the baby, she’s going through so many hands.

Pediatricians don't typically do deliveries, that's usually up to OB/GYNs. He's also been their pediatrician for 12 years with 2 other kids. He's probably worried about the 21.7 bilirubin count, because a count over 20 puts a 3 day old at risk of brain damage. The doctor alway reserved them space at the children's hospital. Why didn't they choose to heed medical advice that they've been receiving for 12 years?
