In reality, Manbu was the wrong man in the studio for such a discussion. You honestly can't put Sidi and a small guy like Mambu on the same table. That was a blunder by the producer of the program. The issue has never been about runoff. It's about the way the entire electoral process went and whether it constitutes a stolen mandate. This is about Sierra Leone as a Nation and not necessarily about SLPP or APC. In my view, the timeliness of Samura Kamara's statement is completely inappropriate. He should have waited for the tripartite recommendations to be out before saying a word. President Bio's recent address to the Nation should also have waited. According to President Bio, he won by a popular vote. The million dollar question is, if that's the case, why the much talked about tripartite?

Samura Kamara needs to accept defect and also has to tell his supporters that there's no rerun of the elections neither president Bio is going to step down as president of Sierra Leone. President Bio was elected democratically by a popular vote and he is the legitimate president of Sierra Leone.
