Around 25,000 people live in extreme poverty in Mauritius, with less than $2 a day.
Since 3 years we organise fundraisers to help feed families.
This year we want to leverage social media to raise funds via a crowd funding campaign to help feed 1,000 families.

I am from the United Kingdom and I have worked in Mauritius and I can tell you that Mauritius is not a poor country who is beginning for money. In the United Kingdom we all know that the island of Mauritius is very prosperous with a solid economy. The best economy in Africa. Now stop your scam, crook.

You have 80000 Bangladeshi also a few thousands people from Madagascar working on the Island of Mauritius these are foreign workers and they are sending money to their poor family in Asian and Africa. Why can't the Mauricienne people get off their lazy ass and get a job just like the foreigners are doing on the Island of Mauritius and start earning their own money instead of you begging for money on their behalf. You are encouraging these lazy people not to work. I am sure you will pocket some of that charity money you corrupt scammer.

Some people just want the state to do everything for them They work during the day there money just go toward drug ,alcohol mobile phone cigarettes If u know u don’t have a stable life either have only 1 child or non As some people like the tax payers to pay for their Expenses Remember the government don’t contribute it’s only tax payers who support those people I work to pay my tax I wake up early go to work come then do some extra to get some extra so I live a happy life On the other side those on benefits was by the side of the road in the morning & after work they r still by the side of the road taking drugs or with a bottle of larger If u do some farming u will surely earn some money to be independent but if u don’t have the will u will still be waiting for tax payers to help u out. You got so much opportunities in Mauritius Plant some veg do some native chicken n there is so much u can do But I do agree there r just a fraction who have some condition who need help
