This is my first dabble into Converse skateboarding shoes and I wasn't sure how I'd like them, but the new pro model from Alexis Sablone really ticks some boxes for me and we will go over the details and my skate wear test of the Converse as 1 pro skate shoes that I was skating for 2 months. Will they be the best skate shoe of 2023?

I remember burning thru the OG Chuck Taylor's in about 2 days back in the 80s. Haven't been back to Converse since. Thx for the reviews 🔥

Not a fan of skating chucks but any other converse skate shoe has been a dream. Excited to try this one

Have a pair in the box ready to go once my NB 1010 are done, which might be a few more weeks because those are holding up so well. Interesting to see that ollie pad doing its job. Looks like you wold have been done with those shoes a few weeks earlier if that wasn’t there. Thanks for the review!

the lopez lows are very good if you like a lot of boardfeel. Very comfy too and durable as well for a vulc. But for me etnies maranas are the superior skate shoes right now. Just best overall and very comfy for me. Durability on those is unreal. 🔥

I actually do love the look of the Lopez, though the tread on the sole always weired me out haha. I never got how they could actually grip

I haven't thought about converse skate shoes since Rodney Mullen used to skate for them in late 80s

Nice review! Lots of these on sale right now. Could you measure your feet in CM and let us know. This would help me know if 11 is the right size.

11 is true to size for me, so depends what you usually wear in others

Ok I can not try them on before ordering as I live in a rural area. Just getting back into skating, wondering how much room you like to have at the end. So if you foot is 28cm, do you buy an 11 that is 29cm? @@Damoforce

Do you think these shoes will be comfortable for normal walking, not necessarry for skateboarding?

Yeah, they were / are good for walking and ect. I wore them quite often out when not totally destroyed

For me good, true to size. I wear 11 in everything and these were 11 no issues. Meduim to wide in the toe box. Hope that helps

So it isn't durable? Damn. Still gonna cop it though, but only on sale! Not gonna pay full price. I do think it looks good. And I'm a cupsole guy.

They are pretty durable! They are def worth grabbing especially if you see some on sale.
