You can stretch a shoe by putting a bag of water inside the shoe and (keep it upright) place the shoe in a freezer ). Overnight freezing will allow the ice to expand inside the shoe . It really works . If it`s not big enough --let the ice melt and start again . It will get bigger again . Do this with leather shoes .The appliance of science .

So glad I found your channel & this post - hey, I have a few pair of Fluevog’s thick leather platform maryjane’s with the curved, pointed toe & the outside of my pinky toes just get smashed in them… which should I get: the spot stretcher or a toe box stretcher? Would much appreciate your recommendations! Thanks 😊 x

Hi! Sorry I just saw this! I think I would do both! Honestly. They are very affordable and it will be useable in all your shoes. If I had to choose one it would be the full stretcher! Thanks for watching!

@@TeriEdmonds ahh, thanks for your reply - I did get a toe box stretcher & have found that letting the shoes sit with just-off-the-boil water for five-ish mins before inserting & expanding the stretcher, letting them sit for 24hrs, then wearing them with socks (leather still slightly damp) was the perfect fix for these narrow toe, REALLY thick leather, well-made clog-like Mary-Janes.

Hi Teri quick question. I'm technically a size 9 3/4 double e. Have two pair of Georgia g8040s. They run extremely true to size. Size 10 a little big size 9 and 1/2 a little small left foot feels great like a custom fit right foot does not. Am I better off running the larger size with a heavier sock or stretching the smaller boot?

Yes, go up. I also recommend you add the pinnacle Powerstep. It will help fill in the excess and it will make them super comfortable.
