@Cila Luna This is in a demonstration area, with only a token separation from visitors (which implies that the bird is not expected to attack or fly away). In the wild they are very solitary and don't do much more than stand in a reed bed waiting for fish to swim by. The only gripe I might have have with this zoo environment is that it is noisy, but that is inherent to zoos nowadays.

Lîevenche PW I think this type of bird likes being looked at by humans because It gives people a type of stare sometimes it can stare for a very long time they must love being the center of attention
