People may not want to hear this, but I think he should quit pitching. He would dominate at the plate for years, ala Ruth or Bonds, in their prime. He is a big problem for pitchers and can affect many more games than if he was pitching. And pitching will take its toll, even on a real Superman.

Definitely see your point but he’s been improving as a hitter in the last few years so is this year just a progression as a hitter or it because he’s not pitching? It would be fun to find out next year.

@@Xenlacasa45 Exactly, the risk is just too great, IMO. Pitching will only bring down his hitting numbers. Now, if they needed another arm in the rotation, I can see that. Or, if the dodgers want to just extract every thing he has to get outta paying the backloaded long term deal (tin-foil hat time)

The guy is great. He adjusts to a slow curve and he takes a pitch to the opposite field. He may never catch the Babe but he is the best player in this era by far.

If the braves had walked Sho every at bat, codgers would have only one hit n game would have gone into extra innings again. Last year he seemed to have the intentional walk whenever there was a base runner in scoring position. I don’t think he has been intentionally walked this season, unless the old “intentional/ unintentional walk” happened.
