Thanks for the vid! When i get into t5/t6 battles my team are mostly suicidal and the situation quickly becomes real bad (e.g. 6v9) While when i get into t7/t8 battles,my planes are shred to pieces.Now i learn to 'wait for them to open their airspace' rather than attacking straight away as quick as possible

This looks like the last 14 games I've played in the Ryujo. The only difference is my teams have melted and I lost. Yup....14 games IN A ROW. I'm ready to give up on this ship. Well played here. Thank for sharing the video.

Update: I got the long awaited win right after watching THIS VIDEO! Luck has alot to do with it...the luck of having enough decent team mates. That's why win rate is a sketchy science. You can't control what 11 other people decide to do. But finding isolated ships and using islands were two things I keyed in on during my win game. So thank you for those reminders. In my win, my total damage was about 50k with two sunk ships. I had a battle only 2 before it where I did almost 65k, sunk 2 ships and was the top of the team....and lost. So that's why I say Luck is almost better than skill here. Anyhow, thanks again. GLHF !!!!

One thing I don't quite understand is the AP bombs. Many ppl say AP bombs are OP. But I feel it is very difficult to get citadel on BB either overpen or non-pen. Sure it's easier to citadel cruisers but they are so maneuverable that in many cases they just dodged. Therefore I use rocket planes and torp planes in my Shokaku most of the time and have 30% win rate :(

Well done bro... if I have CV teammates like you! Good video as I learn a lot as well. However, despite playing about 80% about your score in about 70% of the time, I am still being called names like "Noob CV", "Fk u CV" and things as such! Rarely I got praised for seeking out enemies DDs and destroying them. When I destroyed enemies ships using torpedo bombers, more than often I got the abuses again! But when I see the team list, these fellas were the ones using BBs and CAs whose score lower than me and died faster than my CV. There was even once, when I was the last survivor vs 3 more enemies ships. Instead of encouragement, my own teammates abused me with mentioned names and told me to sink myself faster! LOL at these noobs

what would you rec for a CV for someone that wanted to get into them, I mainly use Japanese ships and for a good tier 10 BB what is your best reccomendation

Ketsu22 torpedos for japanese bombers for US fighters are decent for every country I recommend starting Hosho overall

it's not quite the matter of RNG. u need to hit outside of the torpedo protection (i.e. aim for bow or stern) in order to score a flood.

Do you think concealment expert is good for higher tiers? I have faster aim but now regret since I want AR Faster Squadron and longer booster but also want Survivability too.

Sight Stabilization is useful throughout the game, while Concealment Expert only works in special situations. Playing near the combat zone with big and bulky aircraft carriers is always risky.

If you run concealment expert you can actually stealth torp with the ijn tier 10 torpedo planes. You run the long-range ones but you can't run acceleration. But you can literally get three drops in by the time you're spotted on the target so if someone has dug in behind a rock you're sending a full Squadron of corpse at them by the time they realize you're there

If i shoot the rockets it takes a while for they will launch...it goes green around 5 sec later they shoot, when I see u use your rockets then when it's green it shoots right away? How come?

I just got Ryujo and I ended up in a T8 battle and everybody called me noob Like I could have done anything at all (.__.) I had Upgrades but haven’t researched the new types of planes yet So I keep getting turkey shot out of the sky by high tier AA

Ryujo the Prancing Dragon, my most favorite CV all of time,, but to be honest, looking your playstyle bleeds my eye.. me as F2P player who can't buy a premium account looking this as a failure to keep your squadron alive and minimize their loss. 56 is huge number that can impact my credits income if I can't manage them.. My strategy for the first take off is using a TB as opening attack aircraft. sending the 4 plane back and use the rest to strike enemy ship, using the entire squadron is too risky in early match remembering the enemy AA still too strong.. unless they are alone or weak AA ship. until the late game that I will use full squadron to attack, for DB I using slingshoot attack and suicide squad with 4 plane and 1 drop chance to get citadel and run. for DD, I mostly not attack them with Rocket plane but with my TB and DB, that will scare them so they'll react wherever my plane flying above them and make them turn., my Fighter mostly used as scout or a decoy to get rid of enemy fighter also I almost never use my rocket plane for attack because their dmg is too low, I only use them as fighter, scout, fast supporting aircraft, for fight DD in CqC, decoy, and for chasing dying enemy ship.. even for uptiered match, I still manage to keep the loss low as possible with high dmg I can do.. aslo thx to IJN CV special characteristic that can keep them undetected with low detectability range for the hull itself and the TB.

Reed Dragon I disagree about using attack planes. I think they can do serious damage to DDs and even though it might not be good for damage farming but the impact on both team is crucial since DD can be dangerous to CV and BB if left unchecked. But I still uses TB to attack DDs and the damage is much more serious, but if the DD player is a skilled one it’s hard to score a hit (on lower tier it’s easier of course) so I find attack planes more consistent even though I don’t really use them.

Never ever use AP DB's on DD's. They almost always overpen and do minimal damage. So the only time it's ok to DB a DD is when it's on 700 HP or so (not sure what's the minimal damage on ryujo) and you just happen to have DB's near him. The purpose of AP Dive bombers is wrecking Cruisers and BB's with weak deck armor (mainly germans). Also rockets aren't as useless as people think. They deal HE damage that can permanently take out AA modules and lower the AA damage of the struck ship. So sure DD's should be the main targets for those but strafing a BB or Cruiser is not as bad of an idea as people think. Especially if you return later with other bombers.

karma points in this game are the most idiotic thing, you rarely get upvoted because most people are envious of your kills, and rather get downvoted for the fault of others.. you really have to be EPIC in this game to maintain karma.. basically outweigh the jealous and frustrated shitheads with your outstanding skills (which basically requires knowledge of every ship in the battle)...
