Kya picture thi yaro ..it is still one of best .. us jamane me technology ki jyada help nahi mili hogi, fir bhi Sippi ji you produced a marvelous movie..way better than any of today's movies. Give some advice to today's directors to copy less, use some brains..show less violence, no out of limit romance scenes, promise viewers sitting till the end..no need of doing extra marketing thru big shows. I still love to see this movie even after watching at least 19 times. That Jail scenes and Asrani's Dialogues were too good..

Sholay is very close to my heart. I was 12-13 year of age when the movie was released and believe me I had watched this movie 7 time (Saat baar) in the first week of release..❤ Aur aajtak tak 100 se zyada baar dekh chuka hu 😂

The entire film had scenes and situations exactly identical to many Hollywood western movies. To name some..... Magnificient Seven For Whom The Bells Tolll Guns for San Sebastin Garden of Evil And several other B Class Western movies. Some sequences were ditto copies. All told, overall it was a blockbuster entertaining movie. Very well directed, and impressive acting and fantastic photography.
