Everyone was laughing at what shoot did but this was his turn up moment lol. I can't wait to see killua vs palm, that was a good scene.

Hunter x Hunter is good from start to finish. But when the narrator starts to participate more in the scenes, the anime gets much better. I love that

they literally had to do that for the sake of explaining the current level of situation because believe it or not, even with the narration of every scene, people still misunderstood and miss a lot of details in each scene. EVEN THOUGH IT'S IN SLOW MO!

This arc is all about showing how animals and men are very close. They way ants treat humans, like slaves and food, it's what humans have done other humans and animals for a long time. When Meruem kills humans to harvest their strength, it's not far from what we do to cattle; when Meruem says he'll create a natural reserve for worthy humans, it's not far from what we do in natural reserves and zoos. Plus ants have a gentle and loyal side to them just like humans (e.g. Meruem and Komugi, the Royal Guards with Meruem).

Shoot covering his eyes was an unconscious method of increasing his nen since he felt confident and empowered. By covering his eyes, he is imposing a limitation on his vision which allowed his nen to surge.
