I have been in this situation back in the day. Way back lol I remember looking across and see some guy locking eyes. If I smiled, the ball was in their court. Most didn't act on it. Then one day, the guy made an effort and worked hard for me. That guy...I married ! Just celebrated our 44th anniversary. 2 children, 4 grands. Ya gotta show that she's worth your time and mean it! Doesn't matter if your tongue tied, go for it or always wonder what if !?! Yep this happened!

I love Zac Brown. Day That I Die featuring Amos Lee is my all time favorite. Amos has such a smooth voice it's crazy someone can be that good. Can I make a suggestion? What you should do is reactions to original songs then a cover version. For instance Black Stone Cherry's Stay and Florida Georgia Line's cover. Or Best I ever had by Vertical Horizon and the Cover by Gary Allan. Would be good I think.

This is indeed a classic and great job on reaction L! I actually had this happen to me in high school and well I loved this girl and I told her how I felt. She said Ok and I was smiling like no tomorrow, but that was short lived unfortunately, the next day I was told by one of my other friends that was she already dating another boy. She wasn't keeping it from me for spite, she just didn't want to break my heart and see me cry. We are still friends till this day.

From the times my sons were young I tried to teach them to ask for what they want, most of the time the worst case scenario is you hear a "no." I told them girls would become intimidating to talk to, but if you want to talk to them you are going to have to go up and say hi. She might be horrible to you, that just means you saved yourself time wondering about her for who knows how long, it's not happening and you know. My sons don't seem to have fears about walking up and talking to girls, and they clearly understand what No means.

Cocktails are delicious. It's just liquor with sugar and flavor lol. Your preference is going to depend on what type of liquor you like, since different cocktails feature different alcohols. Tequila Sunrise is my favorite :)

If you want to try a cocktail try a vodka and tonic with extra lime. Make sure you get Tito’s, Kettle One, Three Olives or Grey Goose vodka. It makes a difference!

Try a Tom Collins with either vodka or gin; Margarita on the rocks, 2 shots of Patron, (shaken not stirred); Amaretto Whiskey; Whiskey Sour; White Russian or Black Russian if you don't like milk; Long Island Iced Tea but WARNING all of the drinks above will give you a buzz, but Long Island Iced Tea will put you on the floor, it's sneaky. Those are a few of my favourites.

To answer the question of what you do, I was dating someone almost five years ago now. I was forcing myself to stay with him because I didn't want to be that girl that jumped from guy to guy. I was with him for almost two years and during that time my best friend stood by and told me I deserved better but respected my decision until I finally realized the guy I really should be putting the effort forward for was my best friend. We've been married for almost three years now. Best decision I've ever made.

I know this has been up 8 months, but I can give you a bit of insight from the kid''s side. My dad was military, so he was around but not around. He never took the time to talk to me about girls or give me sage advice. So in my teenage years I had crippling shyness when it came to girls. I didn't know how to get those conversations foing. I didn't have that nudge to "just ask her out". So there were a few girls that slipped through my fingers... some I learned 10-15 yrs down the road were actually interested in me too. But I didn't have that confidence. But in hindsight with two kids of my own, including a son, I get that it was just a moment in my life and a lesson on how to help my boy as he enters those teenage years.

Lolol.. your right . It never happens this way. But that's why we make music videos and romance movies and novels. Do you like sweet? Beware of cocktails if you don't like sweet. In general most martinis and other "cocktails" are overpriced. If you want you should have a home party and get a few Ingredients for things like the cosmopolitan I saw recommended by someone else. I like them, but hubby wouldnt touch it. Do you like whiskey, or gin, or one of those yukky guy drinks?? If so get that on the rocks. "Jamenson (sp?) on the rocks" is what my hubby of 40+ years orders. Or you get a beer!! And let your lady buy something fun and pretty!! No matter how expensive it is. You'll be happy and you'll still be doing "cocktails".. it's a pretty generic term these days. If at the bar get an appetizer.. maybe chips and salsa.

I wouldn't call it a classic, but it does have more of a classic country sound as opposed to some of the more modern "country" music. I'll tell you what, many long-time country fans lose it when Alan Jackson joins in on the song (having him featured is like having Snoop Dogg in your rap video).

If you want something nice to sip and enjoy I'd go with something like a Seagram's or Crown and 7-up. Wanna get hammered , shots are a different beast. And don't get fooled into a Long Island Ice Tea.... it's the equivalent four beers but goes down so damn smooth.
