High-Speed .50 Cal is so beautiful coming out of the barrel, flying through the air and hitting a surface. Once the bullet has just cleared the brake and the flash is coming out it's almost like an art piece. High-Speed is so amazing. Incredible video and channel! Love everything you guys do

One of my favorite bits of writing in a novel, is Lee Child describing the flight of a 50bmg round in Die Trying. This is the video equivalent of that.....

For focusing that setup you try using first surface mirrors as that would eliminate weird artifacts caused by the light bouncing through glass at an angle as the reflective coating is on the outer surface. they are more expensive and harder to find but would make shots like that so so good without having to put them epic cameras in the firing line

If you guys are having problems with focusing when shooting a 50bmg on to the window, just put a sticker on the side you want to focus on. Works great.

Unbelievable results, amazing how the construction of the glass stops the bullets, you now know the 50 cal can't go through the glass so why not put the high speed directly behind it rather than catching the image through the mirror 👍

Yea but not shooting the car, the 50 would of gone right thru that glass in the car, the 308 nearly went thru, the glass outside the car was much thicker, by a inch or more, the 2 inch duct tape helps show the size compared to the car window. The front windshield looks even thinner. You wouldn't see the round coming at your face, you wouldn't even feel anything, just RIP

🔥👍 LOVE your channel guys, hands down the best footage and coverage of Slo Mo ballistics period. Though, if there was one critique to be made, (kind of a big one really), is the sound effects. We all know audio is more than half a video, and SFx add lots of depth and dimension to the content. Your footage definitely benefits from added sound effects, though all of yours have been, not just a little too much, but WAY TOOOO thick/heavy, etc. Of the lesser sound issue, dropping the overall volume of the SFX substantially, approx half or so would help, but of even greater importance is the liquid mushy gloppy gushing sound effects, (clearly multiple being added on every impact) is not natural to the visual on any level. Not saying get rid of them entirely, they do add dimension to the impact, but only as a super SUPER subtle backdrop, so subtle it cannot be made out even when trying to listen for it, its just there to compliment the other SFX that are more natural to the visual. Personally, taking care of those edit audio issues will catapult your channel so much further in growth as it will come across as much more mature, less like a 7 year old added armpit farting noises. Again, thank you for bringing this content.

What i want to see is a 30 rounds of 5,56mm or 7,62mm vs such a target. If you have a weapon like an AR15 or AKM you will use your full mag against your target, not just 1-2-3 bullets.

"It's almost like it's turning to liquid." I don't know about nowadays, but glass in old times was a liquid to a degree. That's why the really old windows in historical buildings have that sagging effect. Gravity pulled the liquid towards the bottom.
